With a hum of appreciation, Madame Moreau selected a zippered bag from the parallel racks at the back of the room. Hanging it on a display hook, she unzipped it with a flourish, uncovering a lacquer red almost Grecianesque gown, its entire drape coming from a cutout over one shoulder, effectively leaving both shoulders bare.
“Oh.” Evelyn couldn’t hide her reticence. “It’s lovely, really, Madame, but that’s—it’s too revealing.”
