Thrown Back by the Moon Goddess
We’re a good two hours in when we hear a rustling of leaves and six people jump out of the bushes surprising us.
They growl, “Give us your badges, you’re outnumbered, two to one,” a tall guy says. I remember watching him fight yesterday. He was average. Slow, relying on strength. He lucked out with his contender who was small but also slow. Making her an easy target for him.
“We’ll fight you,” the wiry girl says. She misses her front tooth and has a crooked nose. She fights dirty, I remember.
“Gladly!” Madeline calls out and leaps on the wiry girl knocking her down and grabbing her badge in the same swift movement.
