The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

And today, I’m leaving one of my children here for what could be the rest of her life. I bite back tears as my girls hurry up the steps. Maeve skips every other step, much to Brie’s annoyance. Maeve and Brie are complete opposites. Maeve is playful but tends to fly by the seat of her pants, throwing caution to the wind. Brie is… a rock. Solid in conviction and sense. She’s the reason Maeve was able to have a childhood in Veiled Valley without needing to worry about her powers getting in the way. She raised Maeve as much as Evander and I did, and I know that right now, she’s hurting as badly as I am…

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

Maeve: The Rise Of The Gamma

Maeve: The Rise Of The Gamma

Then Maeve removed her hand. “But of course I want to see the child live,” she said, moving away from Selene. Selene gasped for breath, holding her neck. “You monster,” she gasped, water coming down her eyes. Maeve chuckled. “Now I am a monster,” she said, taking her seat. She looked at her silently, her eyes going to her stomach, and Selene instinctively covered her stomach. “Twins, a boy and a girl,” Maeve said, still staring at her stomach.

The True Elemental Luna

The True Elemental Luna

"As long as she's sworn to secrecy. I really don't feel like explaining this to anyone else until I understand what's going on myself. Especially if they get pissed off by hearing about it from her first." "You wouldn't believe the secrets that girl can keep. She is my daughter, you know," Sylvia replied with a wink. I smiled and nodded my head. "Of course. But, can I ask why?" "You'll see," Sylvia replied as she waved her hand in a 'come in' motion, and the door to the office opened to reveal Maeve standing there just about ready to knock. Maeve grew up to be a beautiful young woman. Her band colored skin made her light blue eyes sparkle, and she had her mom's natural indigo blue hair color

Middle Land

Middle Land

Violet was full of surprised. Lady Maeve opened the door and didn't move. She looked shocked. "Shit. I'm new at this and you are very bloody handsome. Like fuckably handsome. Oh WOW! I hope you two have babies together..." Violet ran over and put her hand over Maeve's mouth and announced Prince Oisin's arrival. Maeve wasn't lying when she said he looked 'fuckably handsome'. I definitely need the overnight bag. Oisin smirked and I heard his voice in my head.

Darcy said. Maeve stared at her for three seconds, then slapped her thigh and stood, brushing dust off her pants. "Alright. Go back upstairs to your Alpha's penthouse. Stop wasting time in this windowless room." Darcy turned toward the iron door, her hand on the cold metal lock. "Darcy." Maeve's voice came from behind her. Darcy stopped. She didn't turn. "Chloe had a bad habit in the North," Maeve said, dropping a stack of brown paper onto the wooden table. Darcy turned half her face.

Too Big to Fit.

Too Big to Fit.

Sydney Maeve’s room smelled like what I imagined pixie dust would smell like. It was large, soft yellow everywhere—the walls, the ceiling, the rugs, her duvet…even her stationaries. Just not her clothes. The first few times I stopped by her house, it felt like walking into some kind of aesthetic explosion. But today, I didn’t care. I walked into her room to escape—something I kept telling myself. That maybe if I stayed away long enough—if Maeve saw even a fraction of how twisted my stomach felt, maybe she’d let me hide here for one night.

Resent, Reject, Regret

Resent, Reject, Regret

She opened the box to reveal something that was glistening under the light. She touched it with her hand before she lowered her gaze and shut the box in disappointment in the end. At the same time, someone knocked on the door of the study. “Come in.” Maeve entered and a look of disappointment flashed past Brendan’s eyes when he realized that it was Maeve. It happened so quickly that no one would notice. He then asked with a calm gaze, “What’s going on?” “Mr. Brighthall.” Maeve shut the door after her with a solemn expression. “Something happened when I was out shopping with Ms. McKinnon this afternoon and I feel that I should inform you.”

So, the next low-down and dirty thing that seems to be lining up for Dee is for them to take her baby away to be raised by Brendan and Emily or Brendan and the new Charlene. Oh yeah, and Dee will still be penniless, homeless, and blind ...

Led to You: The Alpha’s Angel

Led to You: The Alpha’s Angel

She simply let out a laugh, before stating, “my mate knows that if I set my mind to something, that it’s happening.” I was working on putting some invoices into a spreadsheet when Maeve came into Callan’s office with a pep in her step. I looked up from my desk that we had added the day prior. Her smile was as bright as the pink sweater she had on. She looked completely out of place in this dark, dark neutral, house. She braced her hands on my desk before hoisting herself up to sit atop my desk. “Cal, I am taking my new bestie to a Wine and Sip class at Lemon Drop tonight,” she said with a smile.

Sold as the Alpha King's Breeder

Sold as the Alpha King's Breeder

Alpha King Ethan had actually packed her a lunch and sent her on her way, only for her to return several hours later vexed from a badly scraped knee and her lunch stolen by seagulls. Most of all, I had confirmed what I already knew was true. Maeve was a menace. And she would likely harass me for the rest of my life as she had her parents and brother. She told me all about them. My favorite story was about a bat that she had spent the better part of four hours trying to catch with a fishing net. She did eventually catch the poor creature and took it inside their house. She tripped on the stairs, and the bat got loose, hiding in Rowan's room for several days before Ethan could finally flush it

I adore this series. I had the privilege to read it a couple years ago on a different platform. It’s incredibly detailed with mostly likeable characters. Plus you get to follow the journey as they grow and develop over several stories. It’s well worth the time invested!

The order of the book is a little confusing, started out with a story about Ethan and Rosalie and mid way through it's like the story has jumped back to were the beginning should be. I love the story but this kinda has me scratching my head .

Echoes of Ruin

Echoes of Ruin

And the one person with nothing to hide was stepping forward. Maeve Holloway moved through the crowd like a torch cutting through fog. She wore Runebound’s colors, deep indigo and silver. Straight-backed. Fire-eyed. A woman who had spent her winter break doing what no one else here had dared: digging through the filth Sampson left behind. “I won’t stay quiet,” she said without waiting for permission. “Not for your pride. Not in the name of Sampson. And not for the way I’ll be treated after this.”
