Maeve Whalen Novels & Stories

I interrupt Noah. He shivers in fear and nods, “Yes. It started as a simple tour until I was attracted to a shining light, it was only when I touched the light that I realized it was a casket. An energy emerged from it and introduced herself as Maeve, an ancient witch who has been stuck in the casket for years. She said that she wants us to set her free so she can complete her dream.” Maeve can be so delusional, that she still believes that she has a dream to share with Zane. It is quite unfortunate that I will not partake of this task to set Maeve free, I plan to eradicate her energy before she breaks free.

That is a blessing. “Yes Ma’am. Roast me some more.” “I could never roast you!” “Yeah right. How’s your show going?” I ask, ascending the staircase and I hear her release a tired breath on the other side. Maeve is an international model and she’s quite famous. She has an A list model who has modeled for many popular clothing brands and commercials for influential companies and that’s why she’s always on the move. She’s living the best life out there and I’m so jealous of her!

Labor The birth center welcomed them with an atmosphere of professional calm. Maeve Ivanov, twenty-four years old, a struggling lawyer saddled with student loans, and a singer leading a double life in the shadowy underbelly of the city. How deliciously ironic that my wife, Marina, had chosen this seemingly ordinary girl as a pawn in her twisted game – paying her to seduce me and bear my child, all in a misguided attempt to conceal her own infertility.

she said, “because he knocked next on the worst door he could have found and I am tired of the way Maeve smiles when people pay the price they don’t read.” “Maeve,” I repeated, and the bottle-crack sound of the name told me I’d been right to hate it before I met it. She nodded. “My dear colleague,” she said dryly. “She calls herself a ritualist. I call her a crow who learned to count. She makes men into things they shouldn’t be for the price of their future and two teeth. He brought her the first tooth with his own pliers.” My stomach went cold. “Where.”
