Mafia Deity

Mafia Deity

She flinched. Alessandro turned to her sharply. “What?” “Did you say something?” “No.” She wrapped her arms around herself. The whisper returned, weaving through her like silk soaked in blood. “One hundred beneath you. One hundred for you. The last completes the crown.” She shot to her feet, stumbling. The stone felt like it shifted under her. When she regained her balance, she wasn’t entirely sure the room hadn’t shrunk. “Something’s wrong,” she said. “I don’t feel well.”

A few minutes later, the snake woman slithered gracefully and inched 3 meters closer to them, elevating their heartbeats even more. Fang flinched in fear, but when he looked into Creed's stern eyes, he calmed down. Running away might seem like the most logical option, but it was not. Ascension was not something ordinary, but a very private and a grand occurrence. To encounter a being ready to ascend was not something that happened daily. At least not for beasts. More than a phenomenon, it was a representation of awakening. The purification of the body. The reincarnation of a soul.

Hello Everyone! i hope you still remember me. I've made you suffered enough, haven't I? Sorry about that... but good news is ... I'm finally getting my groove back. Second part is gonna be back soon for the wonderful people who stuck for so long(which I never expected).

Great writing with well organized story with many twist. The fighting or war actions are well thought out and bring you into the story. Warning Book is hard to put down. You will be up late turning pages

The Almighty Dragon General

The Almighty Dragon General

Marcello praised him, “How impressive of you! Magnus is at the Immortal Ascension’s Third Stair, yet you were able to defeat him by yourself. By the way, what cultivation method did you cultivate? It’s so insanely powerful!” “Sacrilegious Ascension,” came a voice. Everyone turned their heads to see a man in a black robe approaching. Around twenty years of age, he had long hair and a somewhat handsome-looking face. However, he exuded a slight trace of malevolent energy. “Jace…” Marcello greeted him and asked, “What is Sacrilegious Ascension?” At that moment, another voice came, “Sacrilegious Ascension is a signature cultivation method of the Primordial Divine Ape Race.”

This end is terrible. I strongly believe there is a volume 2 or part 2. I refuse to be left hanging and thinking of a million ways the whole thing played out. Patiently waiting for volume 2............

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Absolutely not. Reasonable honestly. Then the voice returned. Cold. Absolute. "ASCEND." The word hit like a command written into existence itself. Immediately— the remaining structures of the Bastion reformed. Not gently. Violently. Stone pathways reassembled in midair. Broken towers rotated into new positions. A final vertical path formed. A straight ascent into the broken sky. Then the Third Crown pulsed. Truth. The final path led directly to the Throne. Then Cassian moved first.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The Ascension

The Ascension

Anyway, I’m pretty many are not familiar with the concept I’m using in this story. First of all, The Ascension, previously titled ‘The Fate Changer’s Ascension’ and ‘Dear Mr. Fate Changer’ is my first book ever. I wrote it December of 2018. I was never trained in writing or have any whatsoever background on how to write a story. Lol, my major in college is Mathematics.

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

My Ascetic Husband, a Snake in Disguise

My Ascetic Husband, a Snake in Disguise

I never said I wasn't into it, but in this situation, I couldn't bring myself to beg. "You want someone else?" I demanded, crossing my arms. His head snapped up, and his eyes shifted into golden, slit-like pupils. I yelped, stumbling forward and crashing into his chest. Those cold, otherworldly eyes locked onto me, glinting like polished gems. I pressed against his chest, my gaze darting. "Ch-Charles?" I stammered, wondering if it was a hallucination. This was some straight-up Beauty-and-the-Beast-level craziness. I could not process it.

Ashbound Moon

Mara stepped closer, and the air around her felt heavier, as if gravity listened to her decisions. “Because your bloodline makes doors,” she said. “And I have a door I’ve been trying to open for fifty years.” She lifted a hand and pointed at Selah’s stomach. “This,” Mara said softly, “is the vessel.” Selah’s smile went rigid. My stomach dropped. “Vessel for what?” Mara’s eyes gleamed. “For the first Moon Cage.” The room tilted. Kieran’s face went white. “That doesn’t exist.” Mara laughed gently. “Oh, it exists. It just hasn’t had the right blood to wake it.”

She Left His Pack and Found Her Purpose

She Left His Pack and Found Her Purpose

I choked out, the glass-claws cutting into my skin. "The Goddess was right about the reset, Amara," Kael said. His voice was a chorus of a thousand tides, but the warmth was gone. He sounded like Samiel. He sounded like the Council. "The Nineteenth Name is too dangerous to let live. Even if she is your blood." He pulled the red feather through the connection. Miles away, in the Silver Ridge courtyard, I felt Lumi scream. And then, the silver web turned black. The Ascension wasn't restoring the Moon. It was building a cage. And Kael was the one holding the key.

The Lycan King's Outcast Omega

"gathering of Northern mages." "She's not planning a military assault," I realize. "This is all about her ritual at the Whispering Stones." "Which makes it more dangerous, not less," Alexander points out. "Military attacks can be defended against. Magical rituals..." He shrugs helplessly. "Have you learned anything more about what this Ritual of Ascendance actually does?" "Some." He pulls out another document, this one covered in his own handwriting. "According to the oldest texts my mother could find, it's designed to transfer power from one bloodline to another. Permanently."
