Second Chance: Fall For My Ex-Mate's Uncle

Second Chance: Fall For My Ex-Mate's Uncle

Maggie huffed, ruffling her bangs and looking away from Zara’s phone, crossing her arms over her chest. “Come on, Mags!” Zara complained, lowering her phone. “It’s not every day we get to wear these gowns and graduate!” Maggie arched her eyebrow. “Maybe not for you. I plan to do a masters.” “Ah yes, our genius friend off to leave us and continue studying.” Zara’s arm was hooked around Maggie’s shoulder, sweeping her hand across them. “Come on, leave her alone.” Alicia rolled her eyes, strolling away. “We will miss the actual ceremony if we continue taking so many photos.”

The Prince and His Princess

The Prince and His Princess

Are you trying to get another detention? From Thea: Wait—didn't you have that meeting with Mrs Clarke about your "future" Maggie and Thea. My best friends since I was seven. They were cousins, opposite in almost every way. Maggie was practical, protective, and always knew what to say. Thea was wild, impulsive, and fiercely loyal. From Lila: Mrs Clarke just told me I won't be graduating. I realised I'm eighteen and walked out. From Maggie: OMG From Thea:

The Invisible Bride (By the King's Command book 4)

The Invisible Bride (By the King's Command book 4)

“Well, it did! We would have gotten away with it too if we had nay been so greedy. We decided the best way to be sure nobody found the cake we’d cut out was to eat it. We’d cut out quite a bit. We were so full after that we had no room for dinner which is how Maggie guessed it was us. She can always tell when we’re not honest with her. She made us scrub out the ovens the next day, but she did nay tell father on us.” “That was kind of her.” “She has a good heart, our Maggie. I think ye will like her. She and Lia do nay get on well, but I think ye will like her just fine.” Her smile slipped again and her eyes drifted away from him. Gair studied her for a moment. They had talked about staying o

The Unmasked Heiress: Isabella Hartman is back

The Unmasked Heiress: Isabella Hartman is back

“Well now, it looks like our player has stepped off the game board.” Maggie Rowe. The name soured my tongue. She’d been my puppet, Victor Hartman’s illegitimate daughter, shaped by my will to destabilize Isabella, to crush Ashcroft and Blackvale to our advantage. Her betrayal — screwing over Isabella for Lilian’s murder, leaking Ethan’s sextape, smashing the hard drive and her recklessly exposed source — served her well until emotions caught up with her cause. Her livestream, asserting sisterhood with Isabella, exposing Victor’s genetic trials, was a maverick play, threatening to tip The Oracle’s hand. Now she was a broken cog, a piece I would discard with cold efficiency.

The Forgotten Luna

The Forgotten Luna

We all headed over to the food line, Rian walking between Tristan and I. Several pack members cast curious glances our way at the sight of Rian with us. Miss Maggie was working the buffet this evening and Rian waved to her, and she waved back. Miss Maggie was an older lady, looking to be in her mid fifties by Human standards, so perhaps in her late 100s for a werewolf. Her long brown hair had wisps of gray throughout it and was pinned back in a bun while she worked. She was taller, perhaps 5’9” or so, with a slightly curvy frame and well worn wrinkles on her hands, and laugh lines on her face.

Collide

Collide

“Honestly, I didn’t know he had it in him. I knew he was a great guy, and friend, but never saw him as a romantic. I told you he was treating you differently than all the Barbie bimbos he’s dated in the past.” Maggie took the card back and carefully tucked it into the side pocket of one of her bags. Her spine straightened and a smile she thought may be stuck on her lips forever bloomed on her face. “Well, then. Time to get ready.” Forty-five minutes later, Maggie stood in front of the large picture windows backlit by stars in her pink dress and the heels that still gave her palpitations about walking in them. Her hair was pulled back into a French twist and her only jewelry was a gold lariat

My Heartless Stepbrother

My Heartless Stepbrother

That made a lot more sense to me. "What?" Maggie gasped, blushing, "No! I haven't been sleeping around. I thought you knew me so well. How could you think I was doing it with all kinds of people. I don't even like girls that way. I'm straight!" She was practically crimson by the time she finished talking. I believed her about keeping herself to herself. I really did know Meghan well enough to know she wouldn't have actually slept with a bunch of people while in Boston. Maggie seemed to have a hard time believing she was sexy. I thought it was an act at first, but now I knew better: this girl just did not know how hot she was or how easy it was to want her.

Alice nodded, her expression unreadable as she turned to Maggie. Maggie swallowed. "I’m Maggie. Half-witch, half-fae. My mother was gifted, but she—" She hesitated, looking away for a moment. "She never got to teach me. So, I guess…I’m here to figure out what she never got to show me."

Mrs Angela said, smiling gleefully. Tracy Molly turned, her radiant smile beaming as she showcased an effortless grace. Her poised demeanour was matched only by her stunning appearance. Her dress flowed elegantly around her, accentuating her feminine assets. Wade's eyes widened slightly in surprise as Tracy approached the table, her gaze meeting his. His mother, Mrs Angela, looked triumphant, clearly pleased with Tracy's grand entrance. "Isn't she beautiful, Wade?" Mrs Angela asked, her voice tinged with an air of assurance.

This book is intriguing. Well written. Really an eye opener for those that need to learn more about what the ancestors went through during slavery that wasn’t in the U.S. I felt for Paneshe. She was such a strong Black young lady.

hi author I really appreciate you writing such a wonderful story. I will be happy if you will write a story about the white lady who had an affair with one of the slaves in another plantation and they had a child. William mentioned it in one of the letters he wrote to Panashe
