Safe in His Arms

Safe in His Arms

But, anyway, so was Marcus. “Ysabelle, as soon as I saw an opportunity, I escaped the demon’s prison, but I could never have done it without this...this unexpected power inside me. I might be able to use this in order to exorcise the demon for good, but I am yet to learn more and understand it, so I need to call someone who has great knowledge with supernaturals, and is a supernatural himself.” “So you consider the wings on your back a clue?” she asked, and Marcus nodded silently. “You...want the demon exorcised for good?” Marcus nodded again. Ysabelle blinked twice and diverted her eyes away from him. “Wow... that’s...a lot to take in.”

Morrigan

Morrigan

Tears and sweat slowly trickle down her face as she slowly wallows in the desperate calls and wails of those unseen creatures lingering in her mind. "Morrigan..." A very familiar soothing voice called her. A voice that she knew would bring solace. Amidst the tall walls of flames, Morrigan tried to find the source of the voice but beyond the flames are nothing but endless darkness. Morrigan slowly pulls herself together and tried to stand from the ground in an attempt to continue to look for the owner of the voice. She wanted to call out for her mother who continues to call her, ask where she was and her father, and sister. But still, she couldn't find the voice that seemed to escape her. "Mo

Reaper's Hollow

Reaper's Hollow

Still, she had a feeling that wouldn’t stop Nana from reacting with frustration and sadness. “So… today I was working on demonology with Windy, trying to learn who I might have to face at the next portal, and something unusual happened.” She waited a moment to make sure they were both listening. Nana’s knitting went to her lap and her forehead puckered. Her mom’s expression became even more guarded. “A giant black crow came and perched outside of her dining room window.” Immediately, Maggie’s countenance changed. “A black crow?” “Yes.” “And it squawked at you until you went outside?”

Lucifer

Lucifer

Lucifer “I’m sorry, Gabriel, but I don’t remember much about my sisters. Even in my visions, their faces were obscured by shadows. I don’t even know their human names. I just referred to them by their horsemen names. All I can tell you is that they were close to my age. The other had brown hair and oddly shaded eyes, and the other had red hair. The only thing they had in common is that they all seemed to be frightened of someone who wanted to hurt them. I don’t remember anything else. I’m sorry,” Michael sits forward in his seat and places his elbows on his knees thoughtfully. “We understand, chérie.” Rafael looks intently into the fireplace and frowns, “Perhaps we can speak to a witch. The Magical World of Maddie

The Magical World of Maddie

Her white hair turned red again. ‘Maddie!’ Moon suddenly appeared in the church with everyone else and looked at her in horror. They had traveled through portals and tunnels and arrived in Scotland through Hintlop. Everyone watched the magic that was cast with eyes wide open. Strong magic, as they had never seen before. Moon covered her eyes from the force of the whirlwind still gripping Raven. She saw Silke lying on the ground, who watched the violence with fear in her eyes. She felt the gigantic energy released from her granddaughter.

Grim Reaper's Bride

Grim Reaper's Bride

I blasted the heater, shivers not only coming from the cold outside. “Crap- Corpseboy really does exist,” I murmured forlornly. Fatigue alone wouldn't have sent Rocco face-down into the dirt- sure, I could have hallucinated the whole episode with Corpseboy in the parking lot, but my knocked out friend was a testament to supernatural involvement. Nothing in the earthly plane could knock Morocco out, neither fatigue nor a well-aimed punch, which he could all too easily deflect. No, the only answer was preternatural interference- Samael's grubby fingerprints were stamped all over this.

Rannigan's Redemption

Rannigan's Redemption

Please let them like me, Maggie prayed as they all looked up at her. "Maman, Pop, this is Maggie Flynn." Bobby turned to her. "Maggie, this is my mother and father, Jerilyn and Justin Beaulieu." They both stood, and Maggie reached out to shake their hands. "Mr. and Mrs. Beaulieu, I'm so happy to meet you."

This was worth the time to read. Real characters, wonderful story, and yes, some tears. But totally worth it. I will breath to reset my emotions, and read it again to catch the details I missed the first read. it is that good of a story.

It was a breath of fresh air, original, I have not read anything with this plot on this platform, wonderfully written, with the right dose of humour, sarcasm, love and redemption indeed. I loved it big time.

Detective Casie Blackwood and the Moonlit Secrets

Detective Casie Blackwood and the Moonlit Secrets

"The supernatural community is as fractured as human politics, with twice the grudges and ten times the lifespan to nurse them. Start with the girl—figure out what she was and who might want her dead." As they left the precinct, the weight of their new assignment settled over them like a physical burden. The bonds between them hummed with shared purpose and apprehension. "So," Rick said as they reached Casie's department-issued SUV, "our first case as supernatural detectives involves a magical assassin targeting runaway kids. No pressure." "The Sparrow isn't just any assassin," Nathaniel said, sliding into the backseat with practiced ease. "They're a legend among supernatural mercenaries—inv

Rebirth: I Settle Her Regrets, Then Become the Biggest One

Rebirth: I Settle Her Regrets, Then Become the Biggest One

"What makes you so sure I wouldn't know? You just want to jump on board with the Ramseys. Sorry, but the Tilmans need it too," I stated. Maggie instantly froze. A flicker of panic crossed her eyes, her face went deathly pale, and her voice trembled uncontrollably. "You… How did you know? Don't tell me you came back as well, Aaron!" I calmly avoided her question. That was when I realized that Maggie had never suspected that I had been reborn as well.

The Coven of the Crow and Shadows

The Coven of the Crow and Shadows

I knew Mags was bad news, but I didn’t think she was that level of bad. “Yes, that would be correct. Not too long after, Liam and Sage showed up at her cottage. I’m starting to think Mags might be the big bad boss we’ve been looking for. She is powerful enough to be in control of such an organization. Not only that, but Mags, like many other supernaturals, are very vocal about how much they hate humans. Many supernaturals think humans are a waste of space, and since there aren’t as many realms for us to spread out over anymore, I think people feel cramped. Humans are the easiest target.”
