The horses were saddled and ready to go when we reached the stable in the morning, including mine.
"What will you name him?" Ronan asked, leading a fair-boned palomino that reminded me of a fire-breathing dragon. I didn't know how he managed to handle the mare. She pinned her ears at everything around her, and pranced constantly, unable to stay still.
"I haven't decided yet," I admitted, watching as Ronan swung easily into the saddle of his horse, her nostrils flaring.
"You ought to name him Ragnar, just another oversized dwarf," Magnus chuckled, leading a blue roan horse with sleepy eyes and ears tipped in black outside.
