His screams pierced the stillness of the night. Amelia didn’t know what was happening. She looked at her fingers that were surrounded with yellow twines of light that were coming from the fae. The yellow rays twirled around her hands up to her shoulders. At first she got scared that this was some magic that would burn her, but then her fear converted into pure amazement, as she watched the lights surrounding her shoulders, her neck, upper torso and then her stomach. She got up from the ground and stumbled back but the light continued to come from the fae into her body.
