The girl is gorgeous until she sneers at me, her eyes looking me up and down. "Watch where you are going!" She shouts in the most dramatic way possible. "And what are you wearing? If you are a student, you need to wear the color of your house. Aren't you sorted yet?" "Sorted?" I ask. Two other girls are glaring at me from behind the blonde girl, clearly her little minions. They all wear the same blue cheerleading clothes, and blondie got pointy ears—definitely Fae. "At Magic Academy, there are four houses; each one represents an element—as you can see, we all belong in the house of water. It values beauty, but beauty doesn't seem important to you since you're wearing those clothes."

I felt uncomfortable. “… there are only two of them. So, by default, they will go against each other. And with our water mages, there are 7. There will be two duels and a battle against three mages. There are twenty-six mages in total. 2 light, 7 water, 2 fire, 4 winds, 2 earth, 3 lightning, 2 spatial, 2 ice, 2 silver, 2 sound. There are different types of magics but only these magics stood out” he’s right. Some magic is really not meant to be used for battling. Although they could still be used on the battle ground, their magic usually can’t keep up to those who have primary magics like me. That’s how unfair magic is. Like snow magic, it can be use to attack enemies but it does not stand a

Helen told, "and to do that we must visit a clinic that have the technology to identify your magical ability." "What do you mean by magical ability?" "Magical ability are elements, and to make it precise there are seven elements in magic; fire, water, earth, thunder, air, light and darkness." "A person can have one to four elements, and both light and darkness are the rarest of the seven." Helen added. "What if a person have more than four elements?" "That is not possible, dear, our body can only carry four elements. No one, not even a single soul ever have that kind of gift."

"I was hoping you'd be willing to help." "Of course. Whatever you need, genie." She came over and rested her hands on our shoulders. "Tell me." *** The spell Laeddin talked of creating would be used to form a weapon. Complete, the weapon would bind with the user. The materials included the scale of a dragon, the eye of an elf, a piece of unicorn horn, the pinkie finger of a troll, a fairy heart, the essence of a vampire, and the blood of a slaughterer. "Something from each of the seven magics," my mom said, giving me a sideways glance.

"I've heard of it before, but what exactly is it?" Marshal Barns nodded, sensing Danial's interest in the topic. "Elemental magic is the manipulation of the fundamental elements of nature," he elaborated. "These elements include fire, water, earth, air, and spirit. Those who possess the ability to wield elemental magic can harness the power of these elements to cast spells and manipulate their surroundings." "Similarly," Marshal Barns continued, "arcane arrays are intricate patterns of energy that can be imbued with various effects, from enhancing one's abilities to creating powerful barriers or unleashing devastating attacks. They are incredibly complex and require both innate talent and ye

Volkan barked at the rune speakers. Mira stepped forward, pouring the three elemental catalysts into the crucible one by one. I extended my hands over the molten alloy, opening my magical core to pull energy directly from the valley's three active anchors. Golden wildfire, deep ocean-blue light, and rich emerald earth-magic surged through my arms, pouring into the liquid metal in a blinding vortex of elemental force. Volkan poured the shimmering alloy into a heavy iron mold shaped like an intricate, five-pointed star. He brought his massive hammer down onto the glowing metal with a deafening sound that echoed through the mountain base.

Recognizes me. "Tom Cracksman. Magnus's debt-holder ally." "I need your warriors. For magical counterwork. Not combat." "Explain quickly. We're busy." Silver-hair beheads a vampire without looking. The metal itself had an iridescent luster to it, and drew blood the second it whispered across my finger tip. “It’s beautiful,” I murmured. “I love it.” This time it was his turn to blush. Caius and the others mercifully pretended like they weren’t eavesdropping. Shifting his weight forward, he rested an elbow on his thigh to point out some of the finer details in the metal work. He spoke in short bursts, always in that rough voice. “With our magic you can imprint on a weapon and call it from almost anywhere. It makes it less taxing on us.”

“Oh my stars.” I openly gaped at the magic that was swirling around. A mere lightshow. A low grade ability that even I can do flawlessly. Nonetheless, I believe it was still something to marvel at. Magic was a sight to see. No matter how small. “Amazing isn’t it?” Sungul grinned proudly, “To know that you’ll soon have a familiar in your grasp.”
