Kael muttered. Gared turned and threw a curse. “I knew he’d come to follow us here.” The old mage waved his arms, controlling the swarm of red objects that looked like petals glowing in red. In an instant, the petals formed into three arcs before they launched towards the trees, slicing the trunks with incredible sharpness and ease. As the area fell into silence, the petals scattered in the air. Kael’s eyes watched them in awe. He had never seen such unique magic. “Where the hell have you been, Stone?” Magus Jade asked in an irritated tone as the petals gathered and circled him. Then they compressed together, forming into a long staff.

Even if you don't want it yourself and I don't want it either, why don't you think about Little Candy? Little Candy hasn't eaten a high-level demonic beast for so long. It is so hungry that its face is yellow and its skin is thin!" Caspian shook his head and said, "These two half-step ancestors may have been ordered by the other ancestors, but they carried the magic weapon refined by the Great Sage with them. Great Sage is an existence comparable to Real Immortal Realm. The magical power he controls is definitely not something that we can imagine now. The banshee was much more cunning than the other Demonic Beasts, and the magical power she displayed when she escaped was very rare.

And, almost always, you're born with only one type of magic. Which one? You can't simply decide to become a wizard. You either have the gift, or you don't. And, if you don't, you can jump through hoops, but it won't help you any. In total, there are seven types of magic. Four are elemental: air, water, fire, and earth. Three are spiritual: life, death, and mind. Out of them all, death mages are the least popular; they're also called necromancers. But we aren't talking about them right now. So, if your gift is fire, you can do your best, but you'd never do anything with water, and if you can conjure air, mind is outside your skill set.

I highly doubted that was the actual reason, but I would let him believe whatever he wanted to. “Fucking hell. Well worth the six months of blue balls,” he groaned. He waved Thad over who was more than eager to join the viewing party. Thad licked his lips while eye-fucking my breasts. Was he a breast man? It would seem that way. “This is called a Plexic. It’s powered using magical essence. It’s what allows sigils to take on properties and what will power her sigil,” he explained before he looked to me to see if I was ready. “Go behind her and hold onto her. It will burn and I can’t have her moving at all. The more you use the Plexic, the less painful it becomes.”

Up until this point, I’d only manifested items that I really needed--like the proof that the jewels were real and appraised, not just for the heck of it. Still, Nuthatch seemed to be doubting my abilities at the moment, so I wanted to show him something pretty impressive. With a deep breath, I conjured up the image of an awe inspiring manifestation, something that was guaranteed to make him stop doubting my skills. When I heard the other mage take a stuttered breath and mutter something I didn’t quite understand under his breath, I knew I’d been successful. I opened my eyes and turned to see a majestic beast cutting between the trees, her white coat catching the light and giving her a soft g

"Do you mean that you need me now?" Miguel said aloud, appearing next to me like a presence blown by the wind. He laughed when I let out a little scream and jumped in place. Then his attention turned to the man who was still smiling, now even more maliciously when he noticed Miguel. Taken by a surprising calm, Miguel pulled against the air, materializing a thin and sharp weapon, like a long dagger. The steel shone in the same bluish tone of its power, demonstrating its lethality and extreme magic." There's no way to defeat a heavenly dog. You can just tire him. And, unfortunately for both of us, Elena, this usually takes hours.

The fact that he trusted her to do this didn’t change the fact that she didn’t trust herself. The three of them stayed in the wheatfield for a few hours, eating what was left of the foodstuffs from Nya’s bag and drinking water from canteens. Slate and Flint discussed the battle that was sure to ensue and how best to combat the Beelzanborg army. Now that the power of the stone was with them, Slate would be able to wield its power from anywhere, as soon as Nya put it in the chest in his castle. At the moment, she had control of the power because the Heart of Magic was in her possession. Its greatest power would be giving the dragons the ability to fly, and Slate was confident they were well on

Her gaze shifted to the others in the room, her expression lightening with a touch of humor. “I see you haven’t quite forgiven your mates yet,” she teased, her eyes twinkling with warmth. I opened my mouth to respond, but she carried on before I could speak. She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, her expression turning serious as she focused on me. “Your aura… it’s strong, intense, almost overpowering.” Her brows furrowed as she studied me, her hand gripping mine a bit tighter. “This magic you carry, Scarlett, it’s ancient and powerful. There are five core elements of magic—wind, earth, fire, water, and spirit. You carry all five.”

Adrian then replied to her, "There are flames that are rarer than others and for magic beasts it's the colors that are rarer than others. Magic beasts of level 1, 2 and 3 are usually yellow, green and blue, respectively they can use wind, earth and water, then other colors appear.
