Magic System Fantasy Novels & Stories

That much you can trust me. Sysiphus looked at Raymond with a serious look this time, as if determining whether he could trust Raymond's words. [Give me control,] Raymond asked solemnly, [Magic has little damage to our body, but can hurt badly when it comes to souls. We are at a higher risk with you in control.] [I can handle whatever that bitch can throw my way!] Sysiphus grunted arrogantly, with pride in his voice. He had never met a match in his life, and he didn't know how to retrieve.

Since the trio already decided to accept the mission, they have already done their research, and this is what they found out so far based on the old accounts recorded on the books. In Dystopia, magic comes from previous lives' power. All the power and knowledge one gains in life are passed onto new life through reincarnation, so those fortunate enough to be reincarnated through a powerful life are given great powers. Wars have been fought in the past in an attempt to shift knowledge from one nation to another. By killing powerful people of one nation and making sure there is much birth in another, chances of reincarnation of powerful souls are higher in the latter.

The third one involved an evil which who had used dark magic to blast her way through the castles defense. The final vision involved a nights and green and silver armor with a red X on his chest. Although Madison believed these stories to only live in the world of make believe, he could not help to feel that there was more to this fantasy world then what April G had led on about. " MADISON,” The two adults shouted his name snapping him out of his trance. " What happened?” Madison asked. " Thank you for your concern, Mayor Pollack.” April G said as she shook his hand.” But I will keep that option as a last resort,”

Every story has a beginning, some good, some bad, mine has never been a happy one, no matter who, or how I tell it, nobody will believe me. I can't rely on the people in my life, My parents ignore me, or are cruel to me, my friends are unreliable, and aren't trustworthy either. So what happens when I turn 16 years old, and run away from my problems to another world, only to find myself in the same magical world I played make belief in as a kid? With heartbreak at every turn, and a possible new relationship on the horizon, what could possibly go wrong in this world that hasn't happened to me on Earth?!

I didn’t think that would be something I would ever have to say. ‘Technically yes. But you can cast a spell on your room, or wherever, and it will contain the Fyre until you extinguish it. There is a very good reason Fyre is the first magic you should harness. It is most useful for offense, defence and the one that is most likely to do damage if you don’t master it quickly.'

As Sable delved deeper into the book, she discovered a section dedicated to elemental magic—a topic that resonated deeply with her. The pages were filled with intricate diagrams and instructions on harnessing the power of fire, water, earth, and air. Eager to put her newfound knowledge into practice, Sable ventured back to the sacred grove where she had obtained the pendant. With the crystal of eternity pulsating around her neck and the Book of Ancients clasped firmly in her hand, she stood facing a mighty oak tree.

I took another peek into the basket. She was right. Hidden beneath the bag of salt and chalk laid an array of smallish, clear crystals. Sungul continued, “Once a familiar appears, you’ll give them a crystal.” As I skimmed over the paper that held the spell, Sungul carried on, “You need to remember that you have to stay concentrated during this. Breaking that concentration before offering the crystal would mean breaking the link. You’ll have to start all over again.” “Well….” I trailed off quietly with an exasperated huff. I never knew how much work it took to summon a familiar. “Does it matter which crystal I use?”

Mia's Pov I stood alone in the heart of the woods, my voice echoing through the trees as I chanted the spell over and over again. Each repetition felt like a desperate plea, but the magic refused to respond. Frustration gnawed at me as I clutched the book of enchantments, flipping through its pages to ensure I hadn’t missed a single detail. The words were right, the movements were precise—so why the hell wasn’t it working?

I hopped out, showing them I’m, in fact, not a danger. The vehicle spun around and made a detour, leaving me in a cloud of dust. I stood there, confused why I was such a threat to them. Even if I’m a witch (which I’m technically not), I literally can’t cast any spells in this vicinity. In the case I do, the magic system automatically catches it, and traces the tracks. In front of so many witnesses, that’s the dumbest idea ever. “Humph, whatever.” It’s not like it’d kill me to walk the rest of the path.

Magic is using essence and energy to apply change to the outside world. Essence comes from the body composed of blood and cells while energy refers to the elements such as fire and lightning. Soul power can also be categorized in the energy section. When a practitioner cast magic, he just wields the essence and energy to whatever form he wills like simple fireballs and ice cones; easy and nameless. But spells needs an activation code to use such as "Fire art, Heavenly Conflagration" and "Ice art, Freezing Abyss". In literal terms, magic has no system but spells is systematic. Thus, ends the tutorial for beginners about magic and spells.
