“I guess we will,” he smiled.
“So,” I asked, sliding a handful of nachos onto my plate, “what did you find in the library?”
“It’s like – like a journal. Mustapha and I read through it today. It’s… I won’t lie to you, Ari, it’s dark. Full of tales of old dark magick, of using lycanthropes to weave spells and potions to further the powers of the non-magical. A lot of it was nonsensical, ramblings about folklore and experimentation that went wrong. But it was clear on one thing – incredibly so.”
