They did not possess magic. Looking back at Morgana, the truth clicked into place. The silver-haired woman smiled, her eyes glowing with an unnatural, sickly purple light. She was not just a warrior. She was something far more dangerous. What the fuck! The game had just changed.

This crazy bitch threw liquid silver at me. “You fool! You think I don’t have backup plans? You will all die. I don’t care if I die with you! Just as long as you die too!” As I struggle to get back up, I hear Rebel speak up. “Morgana, wonder why your magic isn’t working? Wondering what happened to Liora?” ‘I’m distracting her. Get up, babe.’ She tells me in the mind link. Morgana turns to look at her, “You’re responsible for Liora?”

Raven and Bloodmoon did the same, creating a defensive circle around Lyra who fought in human form with deadly precision. “No!” I turned toward them, desperate to help. Morgana’s magic hit me square in the back. Agony. Pure, consuming agony as dark corruption poured into my body, trying to eat away at my silver light from the inside. I fell to my knees, screaming, my concentration shattered. “Foolish child,” Morgana said, walking toward me slowly. “Did you really think I would honour a one-on-one fight? Did you really believe I had any intention of letting your friends leave alive?”

Even Dame Ivelisse, with an ironic smile and a murmur: “First time I’ve knelt for someone I don’t want to behead.” Susan smiled softly but did not respond. The room fell silent as we digested this new information. Blaze's eyes were fixed on the laptop screen. "I'm trying to dig up more information on Morgan," he said, his voice low and focused. "She's a powerful witch, but there’s very little on the internet about her." I nodded, feeling a sense of frustration. We needed to know what Morgan wanted, and why she was so interested in us. Suddenly, Blaze's eyes lit up. "I've got an idea," he said. "We need Kira. She's got connections, and she might be able to help us get some answers."
