Runaway Wife Inheriting Billions from Bigshots Brothers

Runaway Wife Inheriting Billions from Bigshots Brothers

But Cuzo did not even notice their gazes, well, even if he did, he won’t look up into it and just deliberately ignore it. Who was the most important? Them or the omnipotent guy in front of him that the peaceful mood from earlier was already gone once again and was replaced by a dark and gloomy atmosphere, like there was some clouds hovering on top of his head, extremely gloomy like the sky outside this isolated room. Cuzo heart feel faint, he felt weird and strange once again and thought silently inside his head, 'What did i do wrong again?' UH! Oh! Was all Kuro and Clone thought after having this cold and gloom aura that was seeping through their bones.

My New Life Has No Room for Them

My New Life Has No Room for Them

I had cleaned it every day, framing it carefully as if it were a treasure. In the photo, my parents stood behind Tatiana and me. All of us were smiling brightly. I stared at it for a long time. In the end, I didn't pack it. The photo I once cherished for a lifetime became something I left behind like discarded clutter. In less than two days, I finished packing everything. At dawn on the third day, I took my acceptance letter and walked out of the house. ... Fresh back from the Northern Plains, Matthew hurried toward the ceremonial platform.

The Actor's Contract

The Actor's Contract

Date = 25 June Never a dull moment. Place = San Francisco (A warehouse) I’d rather not hang out here for too long. POV - Aria WARNING – Graphic content !!!!! Rape - murder !!! The room is cold. Not freezer-cold, but the kind that sinks under your skin and settles into your bones like mold — damp, heavy, and wrong. We are in a storage closet or maybe a utility room. No windows. No lights. Just cracked tiles, an exposed pipe dripping like a metronome for a funeral march, and a rusted, once-blue door with a single slit at the bottom.

Rejected And Claimed By Her Trio Mates

Rejected And Claimed By Her Trio Mates

“It meant nothing.” A long moment of silence settles over the room. The sun is almost gone outside the window, casting us in shadow. I want to turn on a lamp, shine some light in here to chase away the doom and gloom, but I don’t want to move either. As far as I know, I’m the only thing keeping them from shifting back to those horrific forms and tearing this place apart.

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

**The Unleashed Darkness** The room grew unnervingly silent as Clara clutched her children close. The chilling air gnawed at her skin, raising goosebumps. Even Margaret, who always had a quick quip ready, was uncharacteristically quiet. Shadows danced ominously along the walls, growing darker and more oppressive with every second. “Mommy, what’s happening?” one of her children whispered, their tiny voice trembling. Clara kissed their foreheads and whispered back, “It’s going to be okay. I’ve got you.”

More Than Roommates

More Than Roommates

I hover, then add one more word. working_v6_cont I exhale. Not relief. Acceptance. Later, lying in bed, staring at the ceiling I’ve memorized, I think about doors. Not the ones that slam shut. The ones that open slowly, quietly, changing the shape of a room before you realize you’ve stepped through. Alex is still here. Seth is still here. I’m still here. Just not in the same way. My phone buzzes one last time. Night. Don’t forget to sleep.

Between Heaven and Hell

Between Heaven and Hell

It stood ajar, its hinges rusted and screeching faintly as Takumi pushed it open with deliberate caution. Inside, the scene was both unexpected and distressing. The secret room was far from the claustrophobic, dingy space one might expect of a basement hideaway. It was expansive, larger than the Master’s bedroom upstairs, with shelves of medical supplies lining the walls and a central area designed for movement. Yet, despite its practical design, the air in the room was dense, almost suffocating, as though the very space itself had turned hostile.

LIFE OF LIES

LIFE OF LIES

SIA'S POV Sunlight was trying to peek in, from the glass walls in my room, but the drawn curtains, were getting in it's way. The atmosphere felt gloomy, because of the darkness in the room. I was still sitting, with my back against the side of my queen size bed, looking blankly at the wall in front of me. My hairs were disheveled. My eyes were swollen, but void of any kind of emotion now. People failed to undertand me. They thought

The Roommate

The Roommate

"Enjoy your visit!" Jackson snickered. "Thank you." Turning away, he saluted her with two fingers before stalking off to the staircase in favor of the elevator. The place was just as he remembered it, back from when he applied. The same decaying brown furniture, the weird rustic smell. And as he turned the corner up the winding staircase, he discovered the fluorescent lights still bugged his eyes. The walls even had the same coat of chipped, barely white paint. It was ugly as hell. Nothing like the room they had for the party, it amazed him really that they refused to improve anything with the budget they had.

This book is so captivating ! It truly captures the realism of emotional/psychological abuse, complications of the heart, friendship, and how everyone has their side to a story/not everything being as it seems! I enjoyed the twists and turns that it took me on!

Wow! This was really an amazing book. It's definitely a page turner. It was also unique compared to so many love stories out there. The topics of narcism & gaslighting are important along with mental health. This book could be so much better with proper editing and proofreading. Vocabulary was good.
