The smell was intoxicating - old parchment, dried sage, metallic tang of pure concentrated mana. "Welcome to my Silent Sanctum, Lumira." Aurel stepped aside. "The Duskbane manuscripts are in the north alcove. Try not to get blood on the pages if you decide to bite your finger again. Some of those bindings are sensitive to Void-mana." I walked toward the shelves, silence wrapping around me like a heavy protective cloak. Here, in the heart of the Spire, the only thing that mattered was the weight of the truth. I pulled a heavy leather-bound volume from the shelf, spine creaking in a way that sounded like welcome.

Caitlin sat in the Beinecke Rare Book Library on the Yale campus, hunched over the Voynich manuscript, a librarian standing discreetly over her shoulder, hands clasped, waiting, watching over her. Caitlin reached out, latex gloves on, and studied the book, fingering each page gently.

The ceiling was filed with books logically scattered and the other books were neatly organized in golden shelves and some were also kept inside glass jars with descriptions written on its body. There are also portraits if different famous writers and poets on every wall with little papers pasted under them. "I wonder if someone have already read all the books here." Angela murmured, still astounded by the interior of the museum . "Maybe the one who built it is a total book nerd. He already read millions of books but he isn't brave enough to throw away even one book from his collection so he just decided to build a museum where he can put his books at" I kidded.

Issa pushed open the heavy doors, revealing the academy’s library, and I had to stop and catch my breath. The scent of old parchment and rich leather filled the air, mingling with the faint hint of candle wax from the flickering chandeliers hanging above us. The data needs to be accurate, and this manuscript is an original. For over thirty minutes, I keep going through the manuscript's contents and using the knowledge to refine what I have. However, my eyes are burning from staring at the tiny, faded texts. The manuscript is written in an archaic font style that takes twice the normal needed time for deciphering its contents, but I continue pushing through because what I have discovered so far is pure gold. Also, I need to be faster. The library will probably close soon and I— A hand suddenly clamps over my mouth from behind. My body reacts before my brain catches up, my hands dropping the manuscript and I quickly reach for the small knife strap

Carline shouted and waved at the man while smiling so I lowered her hand. I looked at Astrielle and she just snorted as if unaffected. Alas! we finished our enrollment at one o'clock and we went round and round until we ended up in the school library. I went to the history area and asked the librarian about Lycans and other books with regards to wolves while my two friends are at the main library sofa.
