While Benjamin fathered Gabriel, Adele, Cindy (plus his two late sons), Robert was the proud father of Arthur and Lance. Out of the two brothers, Robert was the most confident that he would return the rulership to their side of the family with the help of his son, Arthur. He was proud of him. I stared at him. “And?” Marcel hesitated, then chose his words carefully. “It wasn’t a good decision to go against Seth and their family.” My eyes narrowed. “Not a good decision.” “No,” Marcel said. “It was a dangerous one.” I felt heat flare in my chest again. “Dangerous doesn’t mean wrong.” Marcel took a slow breath, like he was forcing himself to stay respectful. “They’re one of the most powerful mafia in the state, Reinaldo.”

"My two youngest sons, born on the same day. Malcolm and Oscar." He gestured at the babies. I nodded slightly, lowering my gaze as the maids served us food. Geez, that's a lot. But a big family.
