HIS FATED LUNA DOCTOR

HIS FATED LUNA DOCTOR

Finn looked at the new route on the map and said nothing. Margaret found me in the library the fourth evening. I was not reading. I was sitting in the chair by the fireplace with a book open in my lap that I had turned no pages of, and the mark was a steady low burn that had been there since breakfast, and I was, by any honest measure, exhausted. She sat down across from me without being invited, which was Margaret's way. "The poultice isn't working anymore," she said. "No." "Because the cause is still there."

Five Years After Divorce, My Ex-Husband Wants Me Again

Five Years After Divorce, My Ex-Husband Wants Me Again

Margaret's eyes moved toward the window. The afternoon light had already begun fading beyond the gardens. “Why would Nora give the surname Beaumont to her kids?” The thought arrived again. She closed the book and placed it on the table beside her. The sound seemed louder than it should have been. After a moment she pushed herself to her feet. The sitting room suddenly felt too small for the thoughts following her around. Margaret climbed the staircase slowly; the upper floor was quieter than the rest of the house. She walked past the rooms without looking inside.

Rejected By My Husband, Desired By My Doctor

Rejected By My Husband, Desired By My Doctor

Evelyn Doris shifted behind Adrian. And from the corner of my eyes, I noticed. Margaret remained ever still. “We don’t have all morning.” I turned toward her, unsure of how to reply to her, feeling the hatred towards her hanging on my chest… a child murderer, she was. Adrian looked at his mother. “Let her read it.” Margaret’s expression hardened, but she said nothing. The lawyer slid the first set of documents toward me. I read slowly.

The CEO'S Forgotten Promise

The CEO'S Forgotten Promise

* “Thank you. I feel like the whole world is against me. They think I’m jealous of Amanda and Tom. They don’t believe he could still be obsessed with me.” Margret poured tea with graceful movements. “Some people see only what they want to see. Amanda is happy with Tom, so they assume you must be the problem. But I believe you, dear. A woman knows when danger lingers from her past.” She handed Sara the cup, her touch lingering a second too long. “Drink this. It will help after such a horrible night.” But none of them saw the venom beyond Margret's words.. She was determined to strike when the time was right.

I haven’t read this book yet. I liked the plot but skeptical to start as this book is not completed. I added this to my library and when it’s complete I will read as I am having a bad experience with a book where writer is just dragging the story with chapters which are just few pages in length

I’ve added to my library but refuse to read any book that is not completed. Very frustrated with updated chapters and unfortunately a few books over 600 chapters still not ending and updated chapters were just fluff. Once this is completed, will gladly read.

Let Me Go Daddy, I Am Engaged To Your Son!

Let Me Go Daddy, I Am Engaged To Your Son!

Margaret had stopped at the door and gestured for me to enter alone, her face pale and her hands clasped tightly in front of her. "He's waiting for you," she said, and then she was gone, the door clicking shut behind her with a soft finality that made my pulse jump in my throat. I stood in the doorway for a long moment, scanning the room while my mind raced through every possible scenario. I had spent hours imagining this moment, picturing the man who had orchestrated all of this, trying to piece together clues from the fragments I had gathered. The gifts had been expensive but impersonal, the kind of things a wealthy man might buy for a woman he had studied from afar but never actually know

Claimed By An Entity

Claimed By An Entity

At the kitchen where the coffee maker sat and the kettle and the particular arrangement of mugs that had somehow established itself without either of them deciding it. At the life that was just a life. Just ordinary and warm and completely hers. "Okay," she said. She went in. She finished Margaret's chapter that night. Liam was asleep. She sat at the desk in the corner of the bedroom with the lamp on low and wrote the last paragraph of the woman who had come to Harrow Hill in 1897 thinking she was receiving an inheritance and had instead received something no one should ever have to receive. She wrote about who Margaret had been before the house got hold of her.

The Billionaire’s Obsession: My Ex‑Wife Became a Queen

The Billionaire’s Obsession: My Ex‑Wife Became a Queen

There are people who want to take you down. I tell him I have always been a target. He leaves. The evening comes. I drive home to the safe house. The new one. Deeper in the woods. No road. No address. The trees are so thick that the sky disappears. The only light comes from the windows. Margaret is in the kitchen, making dinner. The smell of garlic and onions fills the small space. She has been quiet since Patricia died, lost in her own grief, her own guilt. She does not speak of the past. She cooks. She cleans. She holds the babies when I need a break.

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

“He has not; I forbade him. But I have had enough of it, and now I go to him, since he, being in service, cannot come to me. I intended to ask of you and my benefactress a refuge for this maiden while I went to Rashroff alone; but since you say that it is safe everywhere, I will take her. She is curious, the magpie, to see the world. Let her look at it.” “And let people look at her,” put in Zastar. “Ah, they would have nothing to see,” said the young lady, out of whose dark eyes and mouth, fixed as if for a kiss, something quite different was speaking. “An ordinary puss, nothing more than a puss!” said Sir Novoveski. “But if she sees a handsome officer, something may happen; therefore I chos

Sweet Revenge

Sweet Revenge

The woman shook her head. "Does she really not want to work here anymore?" The man stepped closer to the room occupied by Margaret. Andrew's hand was already knocking on the bedroom door. "Margareth, are you in the room?" asked Andrew from outside the room. Margareth, who had opened her eyes earlier, had turned confused now. "Open it," said the woman who was standing on the side of the bed where Margareth was sitting. "Are you crazy? Andrew can tell if you have sin!" said Margareth in a half whisper. The woman got up from the bed and had signaled for the two people in her room to hide.

Married to the mafia

Married to the mafia

I need to know what is going on. Once we are in the house, Margaret sits in the living room and starts to read the newspaper. I haven’t seen someone read the actual newspaper for years. I guess they are not crazy about cellphones around here. I take the Pride and Prejudice book from the bookshelf on, careful not to let the note from Vincent fall. I take a seat next to Margaret and open the book on the front page. “Oh, look!” I exclaim faking an innocent tone of voice. “What a coincidence, this book was Tatiana’s!”
