“Fuck you,” Shawn grits from the other side of the pole, and I squeeze his fingers, hoping he’ll stop provoking her.
“For such a pretty face, you weren’t very convincing, Pierce,” Marina walks around to the other side. The sound of her combat boots crunching against debris that littered the ground.
