Jumping up, he gave the knocker a good whack before falling back, waiting with impatient, puffing breaths. After a moment the sound of heeled shoes could be heard, and the door swung open, revealing an older woman, dressed smartly in deep purple. She looked about herself as Mylo ducked away, smirking as he made himself smaller still. With a huff of indignation, she turned to close the door. "Can I come up, Marm?" The boy enquired, shooting up suddenly. She gasped, her hand flying to her breast in surprise.
