He quickly turned off the music, tossing his cigarette aside. I didn’t respond. Instead, I shot a cold glare at his friends, making my displeasure clear. Mario cleared his throat awkwardly. "Uh… guys, my woman’s here. You should go. We’ll catch up later." His friends chuckled, some of them eyeing me with shameless desire before finally leaving.
