Leonardo’s POV "If you like her, just say it," Mario said, looking at me with that knowing gaze of his. "Stop making her go through all this." I frowned. "But it's not part of the plan, Mario." He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Leonardo, you know what you want. Don’t pretend you don’t." Mario sighed heavily, folding his arms. "Plans can change, Leonardo. You created this plan. If affection wasn’t in it, you can damn well add it."

"Didn't she already tell you what damage you have done to me?" He just smirks and leaves with Mario following behind him, I don't know if Leo saw but Mario looked back at me before he left and had a really evil smirk on his face like he couldn't wait to get his hands on me. I really hope Leo doesn't share me with him. I fall into an awkward sleep, while my body is still healing itself.

It’s maybe because Luciano was glaring at him. Luciano tried to get up, I was fast to push him down and stay with me, because somehow I felt good in his arms. Sighing in some way, he was left to reply, “Speak, Mario,” Mario audibly sighed, visibly expressing he was uncomfortable with my presence as he didn't speak for quite a few seconds, “Mario, are you also ready for operation 45?” Sounded like a threat because that shook Mario inside out. He was quick to respond in negative.

If I couldn't get them to a normal school I will school them myself. I was a Luca and I hated the fact that I was going to be at loggerheads with my brother at some point. I really loved Luigi and I didn't like the fact that he faked his own death to get away from our father . Don't get me wrong ; Romano had his faults, but he makes up for what he missed out on by showing up now and that's all that matters to be honest .

He leaned in. "Quite the sharp tongue you got there, huh?" "If you know, then leave," I retorted and resumed eating. This guy is disrupting my meal. I knew it; he'd just tease me. He and Luigi are so different from each other. Unlike him, Luigi is serious and hardly cracks a smile. I've probably seen him smile only twice in the weeks I've been staying here. How on earth did they become friends with such opposite personalities?

Leo ends the phone. Mario groans and moves his body away from my car. "I hate you, Leonardo Alfonsi!" Mario exclaims before leaving. Leo's not only the member of that doomed clan but also the leader?

“I know you’re not stupid, Sylvia. So stop with the games.” I froze. Shit. Busted. But I wasn’t going to let him see that. Instead, I threw my hands up, trying to act cool. “Fine,” I said, letting out a sigh like I didn’t care. “Yeah, I tried to pick the lock. What? You never tell me anything, Mario. You keep me in the dark, so I was only trying to figure stuff out myself. What do you want from me?” Mario’s eyes narrowed, like he was debating whether to laugh or strangle me. “You tried to kill me once,” he said, his voice too casual for the words.

Pretending not to notice, I smiled and then held the dagger to his throat. “A wise man should learn how to bridle his tongue, didn't your mama teach you that?" I queried. Luigi leaned his head forward, closer to mine then blurt. “I am not scared of you." My smile deepened. Poor foolish Luigi! If only he knew how much he's worsening his situation with me. I tilted my head forward, leaving only an inch between us. “Well, you should be. I am your fucking nightmare, not a daydream.” Patting his left cheek, I turned to address Romano. “Pack him up. He is coming with us."

“Family. We're family. Cousins.” Nero shook his head. “No. We're not. You're a pest. A worthless piece of shit.” Luigi laughed, then groaned in pain clutching his side. “You think you’re better than me? No, you're not. You're actually worse than I am. You're going to destroy her. You destroy everything you lay your hands on. For her, it's only a matter of time before your darkness consumes her.” Nero saw red. His fist connected with Luigi’s jaw again.

Silence took over for a few seconds as the two families processed each other’s point. “Mario, I’m really sorry but I think there’s something you aren’t telling us. I just can’t imagine why Angelo might want to force a marriage contract on your daughter unless he has some kind of hold on your family. Have you been working for him secretly?” Luke asked, looking straight into Mario’s eyes. “That’s an insult and I will not even attempt to answer that.” Mario protested, “You of all people must know that I’d never do anything to soil our pact, Luke, Claire…”
