Marcus lifted my head up, missing my lips. I kissed him back eagerly. His good hand wrapped around my waist, causing me to moan.
“You're shivering,” he noticed.
“Yes, from the cold outside,” I lied. I knew it was from what I had done, but he did not need to know that. “I came to talk to you,” I said, looking up at him.
“Let's go downstairs. Coco made chocolate chip cookies and coffee.”
I followed him silently. Coco was his nurse, an elderly lady that helped him in the house. She was in the living room as we came down, holding hands. “Mr. Cross, I see you have a guest.”
