We both seat on the hammock and she rocks us back and forth. ”Volk had met Marissa a year ago, here in new jersey. Davis, a young wolf from our pack, was running wild and he was chasing it. She had been taking pictures of the pack for a school assignment when she encountered Davis. He had injured her gravely and she was losing a lot of blood. When Volk found her, he had no choice but to turn her else she would die before the medics arrived. Volk had invited her to join the pack but she refused. Instead, She would show up every full moon, try to seduce him and guilt-trip him into doing whatever she wanted.”

* I sat up, gut instincts kicking in, searching the shadows that loomed over the garden. And then, I saw her. Her silhouette emerged from the pitch blacknes, placed in the light of the moonlight. She towered over the forsaken, her flowing long satin crimson gowns as the flowing river of molten magma glinting with deadly reflections of the reduced moonlight. Her hair flowed like a dark river surrounding her, her emerald eyes gleamed with malice. I braced myself, heart racing, instinctually stepping back. "Who are you?" “My name is Mara Voss,” she said, her lips twisting into a smile that didn’t reach her eyes. “Witch of the Lost Covey. And you, dear Lena, I am on to you.”

I asked, and as if realization hit her, Marisa immediately turned back to her human form before wearing her shorts and shirt. "You better watch it, girl. I am out for you. I am leaving you right now only because I don't want to spoil Evander's birthday. Regarding Evander's reaction, you don't need to worry about that. I know you came into his life only a month ago. You are not the first girl who has tried to take Evander away from me. I know how to handle brats like you. Watch out," Marissa said as she turned towards the lake, and feeling annoyed, I waved my hand at the ground, making the wet soil below her legs slide a bit, and she fell into the chilling water of the lake, screaming like a

SARAH'S POV I sat there in the cold dark alley for quite a while and not even a rat passed by, I was starting to get scared when I heard faint laughter, more like a chuckle from afar. The sound became louder and clearer. It was no longer just the sound of laughter, I could now hear footsteps approaching. The closer they came the clearer their voices, they sound like nice people, I should probably ask them for help. What will I say though, I can't possibly tell them that I'm a vampire princess who came here through a porthole and woke up, then blacked out, then woke up again in a place where I was stabbed with needles and driven away by the smell of blood and somehow ended up here with no one

"Who killed her?" "We don't know that. All we know is that Marius' mate was pregnant. She was visiting the village when she was grabbed by a vampire. When all our packs tried to find her, they found her body at a waterfall near Makkari land. Not only she was sucked dry, but her child also died from the stabbing she received. It was a dark time in our pack history. Marius grieved for her for 10 days until there was a rumor that he worked together with a vampire to take the perpetrator down. Our pack has always lived peacefully and we did not bother with other creatures in this mountain but once our mate was hurt, it was basically the start of the war between the wolves and vampires. " Her che

I said innocently while trying to chew and I honestly have no idea how that worked. Cassie and Sophia burst out laughing their asses out. Cassie and Sophia are my best friend. Cassie was a white wolf, she was the eldest of the three of us, the fastest and my elder brothers mate, who happens to be the Alpha of Inara pack, which is my pack. Cassie is one of my mom's book class member's daughter, hence how we met and how she ended up being my brother's mate.

She smirked as they walked in circles. “Let's finish this.” She simpered as she pulled out a steak before she could make a move. The four vampires surrounded her. Marissa tried to strike one of them but he was fast enough to catch her fist. She tightened his grip and the steak fell off her hand. The other three vampires bit her on the neck and she screamed. Some seconds later, the skins of those vampires began to turn gray before they burst into flames. “It's Sunday and I injected myself with holy water.” Marissa kicked her and she fell. Before she could strike her, she sped away. As she gathered her weapons which had fallen while she was fighting, she heard chattering coming toward her. She

Margaret’s POV I came to the hospital alone for my prenatal checkup when I saw a familiar figure. Adrian and Elara were standing side by side, looking down at the ultrasound images in their hands. Elara was holding onto my husband’s arm, tilting her head toward him with a bright, contented smile. I saw it clearly. She had red pupils. She was a pregnant vampire. “Look,” she said softly. “Our baby is really cute.” “This has to be the cutest vampire baby in the world, right?”

“You are a vampire,” Alaric added and he seemed lost in thought as he put pieces together. “And also a demon, and she is a werewolf,” he pointed at Aliyah, “and your identities combined are what make up Mariah,” he smiled, so proud of himself for figuring that out.

She was left alone, when the door was knocked “ Yes come in ” Tara responded Three different girls came in and their skins looked pale than humans, Tara was alarmed who are they. She stood up and stared at them, ready to push and run if they tried to attack her. " My lady" they all spoke in unison as they bowed with respect to her and Tara raised her eyebrow shocked as to what's happening. The maids in the castle have never bowed to her, “ I am Marry, this is Lala and Gina. We're from Vampiria and from today we are your personal maids, we pledge royalty to you my lady ” Marry introduced and then they all bowed when they pledged royalty to Tara
