His fingers brushed the cloth, tugging it down just enough to reveal the full shape of the Mark. The symbol glowed faintly, as if responding to his attention. A spiral of intersecting lines and curves, wrong and beautiful, like something that would make you sick if you stared too long. He stared. The room held its breath. “What does it mean?” one of the men asked behind him. The leader didn’t answer. Instead, very slowly, he reached out and pressed the pad of his thumb lightly against the Mark. Pain tore through me. I gasped, the sound ripped from my lungs as heat exploded across my skin, radiating out from his touch like a shockwave. The symbol burned brighter, the lines pulsing red beneath

We’re going inside.”Marcus gave a quick nod, his grin still there. “Time to hunt, Alpha.”My heart raced, my wolf clawing at me, eager to break free under the full moon’s pull, hungry for blood. We crept toward the house, its dark walls looming like a tomb. Inside, it was pitch black, the air cold and heavy with the stench of old stone and something worse—magic. We moved through the hallway, our steps quiet, every creak of the floor making my pulse jump.

She shot a question before I could leave. “Tomorow is the first of the three, you might want to hang out with us during this process,” “What mark ? The three?” I questioned. I was getting confused by all the weird bizarre scenarios. “I don't understand any of this, the weird and mysterious discussions.
