Married The Wrong Groom: Claimed By The Ruthless Don

Married The Wrong Groom: Claimed By The Ruthless Don

"This marriage is a peace alliance that has to happen. If we get a divorce after one day, the bloodbath would start again and more people will die. So, we have to stay married for at least one year. After twelve months, we can end it quietly." “Shit” Raina groaned and leaned back into the sofa. One year in this place felt like a life sentence. She stared at the ceiling, thinking about her boxing matches, the championship and her mother.

She Became The Devil's Legacy

She Became The Devil's Legacy

Baymont replies, "There is no such thing as 'married' in the Old Realm." "Uh, marriage isn't a thing, La, it's a ceremony or a contract." Evelyn didn't expect to encounter a cultural divide when she first came here, she tried her best to explain it to Baymont in layman's terms, "Two people who get married vow to have only one partner for the rest of their lives, share each other's possessions, and belong to each other alone both physically and spiritually..." "I see," Baymont commented briefly with a nod, "what a hideous curse.

CEO's Only Wife

After all, his family should be an advertising model for contraception. As Eric drifted in and out of relationships, one thing became very clear – all women want to get married, and marriage means chaos. Fight with emotions. Children are thrown onto the sidewalk, eager to get lots of attention. Needs more space, until eventually becomes like all other relationships. Divorce. With children who are hurt. No, thanks.

Accused by a Female Passenger

Accused by a Female Passenger

“Ma’am, please move faster. Let’s not miss the auspicious timing.” The clerk shook her head helplessly. She picked up my ID and swiped it through the reader. Then, she looked up, slid the card back across the counter, and said flatly to Aileen, “This can’t be processed.” Aileen’s smile froze. “Why not? Is the system down? Does he have a criminal record? I don’t mind!” The clerk pointed at my ID, then at Aileen. “According to the marriage law, marriage requires one man and one woman. You’re both female. This marriage can't be registered.”

He asks firmly with his brows raised. "I pay my men very handsomely to carry out the duties I set aside for them. Going over her file was one of them." "Hmmm, and this wife of yours?" "Our status is not exclusive just yet. I require your signature in order to process our marriage certificate." "You have not exchanged your vows yet?" [No,] "Net, and I don't intend to. This marriage is for business purposes only. I've married once and that was enough." My heart constricts leaving a foul taste behind in my mouth when I think of marrying another woman in a church.

Explaining their reasons for changing things. “Yes, mark a new era or stage in our lives. We changed both our legal and professional names to reflect this.” Rebecca continued the explanation. The past six weeks brought a significant change for her. She didn’t care that she’d lived with Everett for weeks before their wedding. Being married changed things. She’d noticed because she’d expected Everett to change how he treated her now that he had what he wanted. He hadn’t, though. Everett hadn’t changed.

he asked. Emily took a deep breath. "I mean that I want a real marriage," she said. "Not just a contract. I want us to start over, for real. I want us to be partners, equals. I want us to trust each other, and to be honest with each other. No more lies, no more secrets." Ethan looked at her, his eyes filled with emotion. "Emily, I want that too," he said. "I want to be your partner, your equal. I want to be the man you can trust and rely on."

Sacrificed to the Dragon Prince

Just us, for as long as I lived. Now I learn in a single day that not only could children be a really weird and extremely rare possibility, but that if we do things the right way, we can also be married. The problem is, nobody asked me if I think this is a good idea. I don’t know why this matters so much to me but it does.

The writing is clunky at times, but the story and the characters are mesmerizing. This was my first dragon romance, and it was incredible. So glad the sequel has already started because the ending is criminal. I want to see all my favorites find their happiness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we just appreciate how the digital reading ecosystem has completely changed how we access books? A decade ago, this question would be about which bookstore carries it. Now it's all about subscription tiers and library apps. For this specific title, the path of least resistance is Kindle Unlimited. It's not free in the 'public domain' sense, but for a monthly fee, you get a massive catalog. The author, Ella Maise, seems to have most of her work in KU as part of the exclusivity deal. I find that model convenient for binge-reading a genre, but it does lock the book to one platform. If you're anti-Amazon, you might be out of luck for a digital copy, which is a real downside of how publishing works now.
