Novel & Cerita Martial Arts

You are a lost cause’, I lift my hands. Now that he shut gracing me with his verbal expertise, I turned my concentration on the ring. As far as the rules go there are none. There is no particular format to fight, you could say fighters of any martial discipline, such as boxing, karate, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, and judo can compete that allow kicking, punching, and grappling techniques, both stand-up and on the ground. In other words, you can beat the shit out of the opponent until he is unconscious or gives up. I watched her trying to find any weak point when the referee announced my name. 'Wish me luck', I said to Kade and started towards the ring not wanting to hear his ‘No'.

Samuel shook his head and said, "I've never heard of it. But from its name, it must have something to do with martial arts, right?" Samuel had participated in the Martial Arts Contest. In this kind of event, except for the people in the martial arts world, many big shots in the business world would also take part in it, because this would involve huge benefits. For those businessmen, it was a very good opportunity to collect money. And for a big family like the Yang Family, it was also an opportunity for them to prove themselves.

I question, sceptically. “Yes, have you ever watched two martial artists compete? A dance of perfection… fluid moves, calculated attacks, smooth reflexes and above all, you can see the art that it is.” He says. “We fight to survive, fight to kill and fight to protect, not for fun.” I counter, as he circles me.

"I—God, Amelia, I’ve never reacted like that. Ever." I raised an eyebrow. "Really? Because you threw punches like it was your part-time job." He winced and nodded. "I know. Believe me, I know." He pressed a hand to his forehead. "A huge part of martial arts is non-violence. Control. Discipline. We’re trained to redirect urges, not act on them. To hold energy, not… weaponize it." "I see." My voice was cool. "Well, your energy and intention tonight seemed laser-focused on hurting Rowan."

“Starting from the tachi waza (立技)… that’d be Aikido (合気道), then Taekwondo (跆拳道), Wing Chun (咏春), Tai Chi (太极), Bā Guà Zhǎng (八卦掌), Xìng Yì Quán (形意拳), Muay, Boxing, Capoeira, Wrestling…” "…And the last two?" "Your right grip is more solid compared to your left grip Judo… if there's another martial art similar to that, then it'd be Sambo." I said. "As for the spin… I really had no idea." "…A pity," Kuroyuki replied. "…You would've gotten a perfect score." To be honest, I don't really care about that. I know I've seen that spin somewhere… it wasn't just a simple spin— it was meant to dodge your opponent's strike while countering it by twisting their limbs to lock them…

He shouted, “What martial arts did you learn?” Philip replied coldly, “The world is vast, and all the changes and branches of martial arts have long been spread all over the world, but they’re inseparable from their ancestry. All martial arts share the same origin! Including boxing and wrestling, they all share the same origin! Hurting our fellow martial artists this way and looking down on our national martial arts is being disrespectful!” Philip’s voice was deafening and shocking, making everyone present stunned!

He announced and they chuckled. “Since this is our first lesson together this session, I'd like to start from the basics of martial arts. Martial arts is a form of combat that originated in ancient times and is practiced for self-defense, physical fitness, and spiritual development. It involves various techniques that include striking, grappling, kicking, and throwing. The art of martial arts is not just about fighting, but it also emphasizes discipline, respect, patience, and humility.” He explained and they nodded. Selene looked around and saw other students taking notes. She facepalmed when she

“Research, my dude. Besides, with arnis catching on, there’s bound to be scholarships soon. Combat sports are trending: MMA, eskrima, kickboxing. We’re just ahead of the curve.” I let him talk. I needed the noise. It kept me from thinking too much about the weight of the sticks, the feel of rattan bending against air, the snap of a perfect block. My body hadn’t stopped remembering. Since Christmas, it was as if every muscle had been whispering for movement. I had managed some early mornings with the sticks, but shadowboxing felt empty

"No rush. First, I want to ask you all a question. What do you think Holtrien's martial art style is really about?" Francesca tilted her head, thinking for a moment before answering, "Isn't that obvious? It's a technique for staying fit and healthy! Every morning, the parks are full of old folks doing Aether Balance routines." Andrew shook his head. "What you see in those parks is mostly just health-focused exercise. That kind of Aether Balance? It's barely above stretching." Aspen added, "I heard martial arts came from ancient military systems. It's a combat skill that's been passed down and refined."

" I asked. “After all, did you take your class in—” idea of how to say martial arts in French, so I spoke in English. “Yes, and it was a lot of fun. I would be fine with that. "People beating each other up?" “We had seen a few movies and I thought everything "People beating each other up?" “We had seen a few movies and I thought everything too violent. "That doesn't suit you very much..." "After his experience with his father, he it was anti-violence. “No, that's not what this is about. Self-defense, yes, and strength, power, technique. But it's a
