Martin shouted, slamming the bottle down on the table. "You wouldn’t have believed him if he did," Xander replied coolly. "You're the type who needs to see things to believe them. And Mr. Black? He’s a man who prefers to show rather than talk." Xander’s voice was almost teasing. "What a great opponent you have there, Martin." "You're not helping!" Martin barked, his frustration boiling over. "Just shut the fûck up!" Xander scoffed, rising from the couch and tucking his hands into his pockets.

At that point, he missed him. One thing was certain Xavier was going to pay, but he was still in grief. Anger hadn't hit him yet. He was mourning Hardin at the moment, but he knew when he was done, he would have his revenge. All the love he thought he had for Xavier had gone and it was replaced with profound hatred. "I think you have had enough to drink" Martin heard from his side. He didn't expect privacy because he was at a club. The reason he chose to come here was, he felt the loud music being played could prevent him from thinking, but it did nothing.

He grabbed a fist full of my hair and yanked me to my feet. "Chris! Chris! For fuck sakes, Chris!" Martin yells as he drags me along with him, grabbing another knife on our way out the kitchen. "What!?" Chris says, then sees Martin yanking me by my hair. "Fuck." He says, raising a hand to his face and pinching the bridge of his nose at the sight of us. "What did Maddy do now?" Martin comes to a halt in front of Chris. He stares Chris in the eyes, pulling me in front of him and tilting my head degradingly slowly to the side. He raises the knife and plunges it straight into my shoulder.

’ I immediately scrolled back, clicked on the blog post then the news filled my screen. “Xavier Crest's Marriage Plans to Someone Other than his long-time ex-girlfriend, Bianca Wilson.” I read through the post in a state of frenzy. I was both anxious and curious at the same time. I read through hurriedly until I got an answer to the question that had stuck in my mind since I started reading the blog post. “The woman he was said to have jilted Bianca for, remains hidden and kept away from the media” I let out a breath of relief, I didn't even realize I was holding my breath. I dropped my phone so I could calm my racing heart. I looked out the window and saw Xavier walking in.

"A strategic partnership between our companies," Christopher outlined, "with mutual benefits and shared risks. In exchange, Shine Group will provide comprehensive support to resolve Harrison Accounts' issues." Alexander weighed the offer, his mind racing with possibilities. "What do you think, Mr. Martin?" Alexander asked, testing the waters. Christopher smiled, a hint of familiarity in his eyes. "Call me Chris, Alexander. And I think we have the beginnings of a very beneficial partnership." Alexander nodded, a sense of relief washing over him. "Alri

Inside, my anger burned hotter with each passing moment, fueling my determination to bring him down and rescue the innocent captives. I allowed a hint of doubt to creep into my voice, my eyes shimmering with feigned vulnerability. “I... Together, you and I can rise above him and claim the power that rightfully belongs to us.”
