She had meant every word. A choked sound tore from his throat; his fist slammed the wall. He never wanted divorce. He had believed he could walk two lines—one, his marriage to Lena; two, his careless indulgences. Today, both snapped. He unleashed the full might of the House of Black. Ghouls surfaced from Wall Street trading floors to Washington corridors. “Find Lena Black. Scour every database. Every shadow.” He summoned the Black Clan elders at midnight, obsidian rings glinting under candlelight. "Mobilize every asset," he commanded, voice cracking with raw authority.

I felt him before I saw him. The air seemed to thicken, growing heavier in my lungs. Power—older, rougher—rolled into the hall like a storm front. “Alpha Kael Draven,” the herald announced, suddenly less loud. “Commander of the Blackthorn War Pack.” Whispers hissed along the servant line. *The Bastard Alpha.* *The Butcher of Blackthorn.* *He rips rogues apart for sport—bare‑handed.* He was taller than Lucian, broader through the shoulders, built like the mountains surrounding our lands. His armor was a matte black that drank in the light, scarred and dented, not decorative. No jewels. Just hard, worn metal and leather that had seen real war.

Orion stated. The name sent a chilling shiver through the room. Hassan Blackthorn was a legend—ruthless, completely disciplined, and the commander of the most feared military force in the werewolf world. He dressed in tailored black suits, ruled his empire with cold logic, and had zero interest in love or political marriages. “Blackthorn?” Cedric scoffed, throwing his hands up in despair. “He’s a goddamn monster! He hates the Ravenscar pack, yes, but he would never agree to a sudden alliance with us. He doesn't take sides in Council disputes.”

The pages were fragile, but the words burned into me: “The Moonheart sings with the howl, binding chaos to will. It lies where the first wolves fell, guarded by blood and shadow.” The Blackthorn Ruins. A battlefield from the old wars, where werewolves and vampires tore each other apart. The Moonheart was there, hidden by Selene’s mother to keep it safe. A relic to control the howl. I’d known then what I had to do. I had to get it.

If I used the Rain Flowers against Eclipse pack's villains, that might satisfy their hunger for revenge. Letting them take revenge themselves would be a big disaster. "Fine then. But you do know this is a better reason for you to tell Beta Jackson the truth about his mate, right?" Black was right, Lila's father was a Beta so he definitely knew more about weapons, especially because of his regular trips to the human town. "I guess I have no choice then. Right now, I need all the help I can possibly get. This simply meant I had no right to turn down any help I would get." I eventually agreed to Black's plan.

But fate… fate had other plans. She fell in love, with the wrong man. He was charming, powerful, and unlike anyone we had ever seen. A rogue who claimed to be of royal descent from an exiled bloodline. He spoke of unity, of building something greater than the old traditions. And your mother, gods forgive her, believed him. She loved him blindly. So deeply, she couldn’t see the shadows in his heart. We called him the Black Alpha,a title that later became a curse whispered in the dark. He wasn’t interested in peace. He wanted power. All of it. The kind of power only a Legendary Luna could unlock. Through blood. Through betrayal.

[Change of plans Mark and warriors should leave for Gray city, investegate and search for any clue that would lead to Jeremys mate ‘Lena’] Black instructed through the mind link. Mark wasn’t close so he could hear the alpha instructions unlike Maverick and Jeremy who came back and proceeded to the airport. Maverick dialed Mark's number and told him everything over the phone. “What exactly does DEATH need from Lena??” Jeremy asked Black. “With her blood he could become more powerful, over the centuries after countless wars DEATH has lost some of his powers he's not as strong as he used to be.with Lenas blood he could be stronger again” Black narrated. Black wasn’t happy because he saw the look

the Hova said. Like the other one, he was dressed entirely in black. He was tall and lean and looked more like a human teenager than a Hova. His eyes, however, were bluish silver. The expression on his face was a mix of confusion and anger. Of course. He had just seen his crowned prince kill his partner. He glanced between Prince Marcellus and Scarlett as if now knowing who to attack. Scarlett had an idea. She put her hands together like she had seen her people do so many times. They wouldn’t start glowing, because she had no magic. But the Hova didn’t know this.

He heard his father resorted with frustration in his voice. “Dear, you shouldn’t be here. Go back to your room.” His mother hurriedly whispered when she noticed him listening to their conversation. “Wait, did you just say men in black?” Hyde resorted when he came back to his senses. His companion didn’t speak but answered him with a mere nod. “Oh, and one more thing, she also said that one of them has some kind of black bird tattoo on the neck.” Hyde was stunned when he heard about the tattoo. He’s certain, that the deceased man was one of them—or just a scapegoat.

Fifty feet above the apocalyptic standoff unfolding in the subterranean medical bay, the freezing mountain wind violently whipped through the shredded canopy of the Blackwood forest. Marcus, the lethal Head Warrior of the pack, was pacing like a caged, starving predator directly in front of the massive, yawning maw of the open blast doors. The heavy treads of his combat boots aggressively churned the freezing mud into a thick paste. His massive chest heaved, his knuckles completely white around the hilt of his heavy, serrated blade. Every single Lycan instinct in his blood was violently screaming at him to abandon his post and plunge into the pitch-black trenches to fight beside his Alpha Ki
