Marvel Legends Blackheart Novels & Stories

I'd heard this song before, just with different lyrics. My chest tightened as familiar feelings of powerlessness crept in. Different faces, different reasons, but the same result. They wanted to control my life and dress it up as protection. "Who did you have in mind?" I managed to ask. Elder Thane's eyes lit up with satisfaction. "Alpha Kieran Blackwater of the Northern Territories." The name hit me like a slap. Even in my old life I'd heard stories about Kieran Blackwater. Ruthless in battle, cold as winter, and about as warm as a glacier. They wanted to bind me to him?

The woman nodded, took two steps forward, and said, “This is a space inside the Dragon Heart, and you can only get here with the jade gold phoenix. Phil, I’ve been waiting for you. I know you have many questions for me, but time is running out. This image can only last for a while, so don't ask anything and just listen to me.” The woman continued, “The Black Dragon Heart is the devil stone that your father brought back from the other shore. The energy it contains exceeds the civilization standard of this world. Your father brought a total of three Dragon Hearts back then, two White Dragon Hearts and one Black Dragon Heart, which is the one you’re seeing now. Your father's white Dragon Heart

But they hit hard. He turned his face slightly, drawing in a slow breath, trying to ease the tightness building in his throat. If only he had known. He met her a month ago—at the bar where she worked. Quiet. Reserved. Always polite. They had exchanged small conversations here and there. She mentioned studying medicine… wanting to become a doctor, just like her parents wished. And somehow, without fully thinking it through, he had given her his black card. She had refused. Of course she had. But he left it anyway—on the counter, forcing the choice into her hands.

Now that the problem was resolved, he had no reason to stay. Howser’s eyes flashed with urgency. He blocked Liam's way and said quickly, "Grandmaster Burrey! This time, your kindness is beyond repayable. Not only did you heal my legs, but you also helped me reach the level of inner energy I’ve dreamed of!" As he spoke, Howser hurriedly turned and took a black card from an exquisite box, handing it to Liam with great respect. "This is a Centurion Black Card with no spending limit. There are only three of these in South City. Please, Grandmaster Burrey, you must accept it!"

“End this, my child. Or the crown will end you both.” And then she was gone, swallowed by the red mist. The ground shook. A low rumble rolled across the marsh, and the water began to boil. Kael pulled Evelyn back just as the surface erupted, black tendrils of smoke lashing outward, forming a circle around them. From the center rose the Black Heir. Her armor gleamed like obsidian, her face calm, almost serene. “You shouldn’t have come here,” she said. Evelyn drew her blade. “You keep saying that. But you knew I would.”

The suppression of my wolf wasn't just to keep me weak; it was to keep me hidden so Malakar could come for me when he was ready. "What is inside the Vault?" I asked, pushing off the wall. "What does he want?" Aris looked up, his eyes wide with fear. "The Crimson Heart." "The Heart?" Drax asked from the corner, speaking for the first time. "The amplifier stone? That was lost centuries ago." "It is there," Aris nodded rapidly. "If Malakar gets the Crimson Heart, he won't need an army. He will have the power to enslave every Alpha on the continent. He will be a god."

“Did you bring me what I want?” I placed the Heart of the Moon before him. "Let Richard go, and it's yours." Victor picked up the artifact, stroking it. “So this is the relic that strengthens a wolf's soul, that keeps the Silvermoon Pack unbeatable in the Council? With this, my Blackstone bloodline will no longer be second to yours. I can release him.” For a fleeting moment, I thought I had saved them. But he wasn't a man of his word. "However," he smirked, "I think a little more... payment is required."

They were marked absent from my list, and before the ceremony starts, I wanted to know why. We walked toward the gate, which was really high, with electric wiring on the fence to keep pests away. The "pests" were likely normal werewolves. The Blackheart Pack was held in high esteem because their elite were not only billionaires but were not troublemakers. They lived a life of freedom without responsibility, but never once hurt anyone. I brought out my phone, calling one of them. It rang and got switched off; there was no response on the other end. I tried three other numbers, and all of them were the same. Now I was scared that something was not adding up.

The Grand Hart Lord's ambition eclipsed any worry he might have had for Alexander. "Without a doubt. By crafting and ingesting the Heartblood Pearl, you'll transcend immediately," affirmed Black Maple. "Excellent. Once I attain Empyrean status, I'll handle Alexander myself," Grand Hart Lord declared confidently, eagerly anticipating the unparalleled power it promised. "Thank you, brother. If possible, retrieve the four jade pendants from Alexander for me," Black Maple requested, exposing his true objective. However, it seemed suspicious that he was not attempting to achieve Empyrean status himself.

“Plus I don’t think I can handle her mood swings.” I sent Evan a grateful smile and he just winked back. At that moment I swore to myself to find a girl for Evan who would make me happy and love him wholly. He deserved it. And as if the universe was playing a joke on me, Athena walked in through the open door. “You bitch.” “Do you know any other greeting?” I scoffed out. “Black Widow?” I looked at Evan’s surprised face and wide open shocked eyes. “Captain America?” Athena’s face was equally surprised. For the first time, she looked at a loss of words.
