My gaze swept over the area, and my eyes landed on the moon which hung in the midnight sky like a luminous pearl, casting a gentle radiance upon the darkness of the forest. Its silver glow painted the sky some shades of black and gray. Shit. The moon is somewhat full.
"The mating ceremony will be tomorrow," I told Amaris, gaze never leaving the moon. And the thought of Alpha Shawn and I, marking each other, somehow sent shivers down my spine.
