I felt like I was in danger or maybe I was just overreacting. That night, sleep eluded me. Thoughts of the overheard conversation consumed my mind, I couldn't get myself to think about anything else. my stepmother's voices in my head then. like an echo. making me feel asleep at the thought that she would come to my dreams and give me nightmares. The mention of a spell and the urgency in my step mother's made me wonder what this was really about. As I stepped down from the Bed and opted to read a book, I began to wonder where I had heard the stranger's voice before.

“I know it is foolish-” “When massive stars,” Mattel’s voice - husky with sleep, but pitched comfortingly low, reads. Regina’s gaze snaps to him in surprise, and her heart skips a beat when she finds Mattel, gazing down at the same book she’d read from before, a graceful finger tracing the lines.

Who would’ve thought that one could also encounter something like this at a book bar? Matthias couldn’t recall the appearance of that girl at all. Was the ordinary-looking girl really so special like what Heather said? Seeing the doubt in Matthias’s eyes, Heather could tell that he doubted her words, but she didn’t want to explain any further—it would naturally become clearer when they met afterward. “Isn’t that ‘Fables and Fairy Tales’?” Matthias pointed to the book on the shelf and said with a faint smile. Heather only cared about what happened before, and forgot to take the book that was just right beside her.

Emma said, walking deep into the living room. "Thanks." She walked to a set of shelves on the far side of the room, running her fingers over the spines of his books. A lot of them were classics, novels by Dickens, Voltaire, Dumas, Melville, and Hemingway. She smiled when her fingers ran over the spine of not one, but three copies of Mitchell's Gone with the Wind. There were modern novels, too, including Stephen King and Sidney Sheldon, but they didn't look as well read as some of the others.

Rose I studied Pru’s face, searching for any indications that she knew what was in that book. Orion and I had stopped by Matt and Pru’s room after he rescued me. I think Matt had had unique plans for them by the scowl he gave up when he opened the door. “Well?” Orion asked as he situated himself on the couch. “The handwriting looks like shit,” Matt muttered. “Thanks, Matty moo; you were the rune expert we were hoping to hear from.” I stuck my tongue out at him like a child, and he returned the gesture with no hesitation.

Gia flipped one hand over, her clear voice carrying as I pushed open the door. "Abso-fucking-lutely nothing." Matt stood just inside our room, leaning against my desk, his thick legs crossed at the ankle and his arms folded over his chest. "Welcome to Carolina U, sweetheart. I'm Matt, and I'm here to make your every fantasy come true."

Matt is a nice guy who believes in the mantra of let live and let others live. Despite his complaining, my mind somehow was pulled into flashes of my dreams from earlier that morning. I’m not sure if he’s right or not, but whatever is going on, that girl is stuck in my head.

Never in his life he’d thought his end would be as horrific as a pre-planned assassination of a modern queen. “Everything is not what it seems, everyone is not what we see, and every book is not as good to read. Some are truth, some are lies and some simply are a way to practice wizardry, prevailing in the world.” Arianna murmured and the predator in her, plucked the nail out of Matt, but kept on revolving around him, ready to poke him if he had any intention of getting out of her clutches.
