Luna knew the next step was for her to get down from the car, she knew it and yet she just sat down there. Seconds ticked by, and she remained seated. “Luna?” Matt finally called her name. She met his eyes in the mirror right above the dashboard. “You okay?” he asked. Luna stared into his caring brown eyes. My neck throbbed, and I couldn’t even imagine what any of this was supposed to mean. Matt pulled me closer and put his hands in my hair, tilting my head back before lowering his mouth towards the other side of my neck. “I'll make it up to you,” he said before he sunk his teeth into my neck. I clenched my jaw, trying not to cry out. It really hurt then I felt something strange, like a very focused gaze on me. I turned my head toward the crowd expecting to see David staring at me, but the man who was staring at me with glowing red eyes wasn't David.

The threat in his eyes was evident. Matthew looked around and saw that a lot of people were staring at him. He gritted his teeth and decided to remain peaceful the entire dinner. Even though his face was calm, his eyes clearly weren’t. There was a storm within it and he clearly hadn’t forgotten the humiliation he suffered the other day. Now that another one was added, the storm was becoming a calamity ready to rain hell upon Eva.

"How are you doing? your friends told me you weren't feeling too well." I stay quiet. "I can see you're better now. You know,I caught you staring at me back there." "Don't flatter yourself,I wasn't."
