~Tilly POV~ “Matilda May. Third born of the top warriors in the pack, Greta and Harold, is cordially requested to train at the Warriors Elite at the bidding of Alpha Jeremiah of the Cursed Moon Pack.” My younger brother, Beckham, reads aloud in awe. He pauses for dramatic effect and I groan, covering my head with the blanket on my bed.

Beau snarled as he grabbed Gus by the back of his shirt when he made a move to get closer to Ryker and Maribel. "TELL ME!" Beau yelled making Gus jump at the noise and began sobbing even more and I rolled my eyes at his pathetic reaction. "You ordered your sons to join you in a fight you knew they would never get out alive and for what? To make yourself look stronger? You're nothing but a coward Gus. You call us monsters when the real monster here is you." I said looking down at him and Gus whimpered shaking his head as he looked up at us with so much pain in his eyes but I could see right through them and snarled.

I backed up until the wall behind me prevented me from going further. The whole situation screamed danger, but I was far from afraid. His demeanor was sort of different and his eyes were dark blue instead of light blue. “Why was that guy touching you?” His voice sounded deeper, and I was mesmerized by it. “Answer me, baby…” He said in a raspy voice that had me trembling. “Oh, Gus? He is on my team, and well, he is kind of like that… you know…” I said, being vague enough to not get Gus in trouble. After all, he is a knucklehead, but he is my team's knucklehead.

I hissed “ us? You are the one googly eyes and practically drooling over her.” Creed smirks “ I was not drooling! Let's just get this job done so we can go home.” I said placing the marshmallows back where they go and heading out the back door. “ mhmm you sure you don’t want to stay and get all kissy kissy with the neighbor girl?” ryan mocks making kissy faces “ Yes, I’m sure!” I growled

He looked at me reluctantly before releasing a long-suffering sigh. “I know you, Elle, and can see it clearly on your face. You’re about to bolt out of Killiad's life; you’re about to shut down. But tell you what? I’ve known Killiad for as long as I know you. He’s a good man, Elle. He’s nothing like Brad. And while I know everything is not making sense right now, I guarantee you, it will.” “I’m not so sure about that, Gus. Even your mojo hadn’t prevented me from Brad's deceit.” Gustavo just shrugged casually as if it doesn’t matter. Like he knew something yet he didn’t do anything to stop it.

And no way for us to dig you two out in time," I replied, shifting off him. Mattias stood startled and frozen in place as he watched us. Gabe pushed himself up, kneeling in the brush. As I think to myself I’m hopeful it’s going to work out. I look at wyatt while his talking to the other warriors about wrestling moves Luca was showing him.
