Up ahead he could see….he wasn’t sure what was moving, but it was moving towards all of them at breakneck speed. It was spinning, it had blades and was cutting up the green things. Hale didn’t know what order to give when he saw it. He was involuntary frozen and the blades were coming towards him. What brought him back to the present was ice coming out in front of him and taking the spinning blades up and it landed onto the ground luckily far away from him.

SpeedBlade: I roar as I charge toward Lightning Storm, my sword in my hand. Running right up to the villain, I shove him back and prepare to strike him with my sword. However, as I am swinging my sword, I see out of the corner of my helmet three arrows directly in front of me. "Oh no," I say, seeing a tiny, blinking red light on them. It's too late. Even with my speed, I still can't get away in time. The arrows all explode. I scream once more as I'm knocked back, my sword falling out of my hand while I drop to the floor.

I push myself for another mile, but the night's events are catching up to me, the dark starts blurring my vision and the world begins to fade. It stood at the height of Three Men, suspended on six large steel limbs that had blades at its feet. It had arms that wielded two terrifyingly large spinning blades all twirling so fast that it seemed to be releasing a torrent of blinding reflecting lights It was a Faith Breaker.

I kick her in the chest the lob her head off with my blade. Reaper shifts back into his cat hellhound hybrid as he takes on anyone that dares to come at me from the right. Blaze has rejoined the melee and taken up the spot to my left between me and Bonez.

"Why ask? We're married." He cheered up and dove in. He was a beast, moving tirelessly for two hours, and I started to regret it.

The beast let out a distorted, electronic screech, its legs buckling as the short circuiting brain sent haywire commands to its motors. I didn't wait for it to die. I vaulted off the collapsing machine and drew my second blade, slicing through the throat cables of the second Hound before it could even pivot its turret mounted head. Silence returned to the ravine, punctuated only by the cooling hiss of the Hounds' engines and my own ragged breathing. I knelt beside her. "Elara?"

Two blades gleamed in the low light. Shit.
