Now Rose was in serious mode. “Right. Let’s go!” Matthew punched the air as he shouted. The first step during the AQC was to find a quest to accomplish. What quest that has to be done does not matter, however, points given vary from each other. The higher the difficulty, the higher the points. Inside a nearby Hunter station, Matthew and Rose stood in front of the board, looking for a quest to do. The board was pretty much empty since they had come in late. “These quests don’t earn us much points.” Matthew said.

The available quests would keep on moving around on the screen until they become claimed by someone. There were a total of ten screens in the hall, each displayed different quests with their level of difficulties. The deeper one walks inside, the more difficult the quest will be, while similarly the more points one will get from it. For example, the screen on the innermost location of the hall was for a quest for Phoenix blood with a payout of a billion points. However, it would be close to impossible to find a Phoenix. There was another quest with a billion points payout — kill the Infernal Snake.

Well, other animals he'd mentioned already sounded deadly. “Quiet,” he commanded. Silence fell immediately. “I’m sure you all know the white stag appears only once every decade. And fortunately, this is the year it returns. The Moon Stag is worth 100 points, and whoever captures it earns royal favor.” The crowd erupted in cheers. “And also,” Malric continued, “bonus points will be awarded for first blood, solo kills, tracking without assistance, and bringing back live prey. Additional rare captures will also be rewarded, as well as the team that returns first.”

“No? But he likes the same weird video game I like.” Ryan and I found Manticore Quest at the tiny thrift shop that survived for a couple months in our town one summer and played it ceaselessly. I wasn’t kidding when I said I had way bigger fan communities, but the mystery man from last night is the first person I’ve met in real life who’s also heard of it. “I’ll put up posters for frat-house missed connections.” Everett grins. “Huh... fine, I'll entrust this mission to you. And I'll immediately track down the location of the chipset.” After that, Chelsea ended the call. Suddenly, the hotel room felt quiet. CHAPTER 1 The Knights MC The Knights Motorcycle Club is made up of 18 guys retired from special forces, thier name is Knights MC. Due to their love of motorcycles and wanting to continue the team mentality like they had when they served, the club was born. They have three teams of six men each. They call them teams A, B, and C. Team A has Prez, Scribe, Cash, Doc, Chopper, and Data on it. Team B includes VP, Soldier, Rocket, Patch, Edge, and Hacker. Team C has Radar, Tracker, Ace, Navy, Jammer, and Gamer on it.

Steel's POV I stood up and looked around, finding Rabbit among the people there. He owed me after everything he did to Cracker. Our gazes met, and he knew what I wanted. But he just scoffed and was about to leave the room. I growled low, and from the corner of my eye, I saw Prez follow my gaze and his eyes landed on Rabbit as well.
