The Perfect Enemy

The Perfect Enemy

The story proceeds: In an electrifying moment, she felt it—today, she would belong to Sheppard forever, and he would be hers for life. The thrill coursed through her veins, igniting every fiber of her being, until a heart-stopping catastrophe shattered her dreams! Beverly’s voice rang out like a siren, raw and piercing. "I've been deceived! I've been made a fool of all this time!" The bride erupted into the air, her heart pounding with layers of anguish and disbelief. With trembling lips, she managed to force out the words, "He said he's not coming."

I like to give these books fair reviews. This is my first time reading a book on Good Novel that offered a different storyline. I like that it's about marriage but not the way all the books I read portray it. Well done! And recommend ... the others read it!

I’m a reader who doesn’t need to be constantly stimulated. I look for books that tell a good and intriguing story. I feel that will be the readers that will thoroughly enjoy this well written piece of work. Great job author.

The Cage Of His Obsession

The Cage Of His Obsession

She halted abruptly, her defiance a quiet eruption that contrasted starkly with the façade she was expected to uphold. "Leave me," she hissed, her eyes clashing with Haider's as she bared her inner turmoil. "I won't go through with this." Her words hung in the air, a challenge flung at the man whose grip on her was both possessive and unyielding. Around them, the spectators remained oblivious to the storm brewing within the bride. Haider's smile remained fixed, his fingers tightening momentarily before relenting. His voice, though low, was laced with warning. "Ameera, this isn't the time or place."

Payback at the Altar

Payback at the Altar

My gaze was sharp as a blade, forcing her to keep shrinking backward. "Chloe, I'm genuinely curious. Can you teach me how a bride who never left the camera frame for even one second, in front of one hundred and fifty thousand people...managed to project her soul out of her body, teleport to the second-floor lounge, and pin you against the wall?" On screen, the comments were scrolling like a blizzard. [CALL THE POLICE. Arrest this lying fake-ass bitch.] [The bride was interacting with us the whole time. She didn't even go to the bathroom. Are you saying she assaulted her using telepathy?]

He didn’t respond. Instead, his gaze fell to the floor. The alta plate was set next to the threshold, waiting for the bride to leave her footprints as per ritual. But he stepped forward, and with the tip of his boot, he kicked a nearby glass vase. It shattered into pieces right in front of the alta plate. Everyone gasped. "Walk on that," he said, eyes locked on the bride now. "What?" Aarika breathed, horrified. The bride hesitated. Her body trembled.

The Bride Who Stopped Waiting

The Bride Who Stopped Waiting

The night before my wedding, my twin sister, Serena Bennett, insisted on celebrating her birthday a day early. My fiancé, Adrian Cole, simply folded my birthday into hers, and then the cake came out with only Serena on it. I asked him, "Where's my name?" He leaned over the cake and pushed the candles into place, his voice easy. "We're all family. Why draw lines like that?" My parents were crowded around Serena too, and my mother said impatiently, "There, the candles are lit for you. Blow them out and stop being difficult." The next day, Adrian came to find me and brushed his hand across my forehead. "I didn't think it through yesterday. I got you a cake of your own. Come home. This one's jus

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Then, with lightning speed, she pulled Debra to sit on the bed. She whispered, "No matter what happens, don't make a sound." "Why?" Debra was bewildered. "I saw this on TV. When the groom comes to pick up the bride, the bridesmaids are supposed to block the door. It's like a game. He has to pass all the tests to get through. I've studied this thoroughly. Trust me, it'll be fun." "But..." A sudden knock on the door interrupted them. "Block it. Don't let them in," Erica commanded, throwing herself into the action.

I really like this book but why is it being dragged so much? Debra keeps getting herself in weird situations like the Island kidnapping and then her engagement kidnapping. I get the authors are paid by pages but if it’s too dragged then the readers eventually lose interest and move to finished books

Enchanted by the Alpha

Enchanted by the Alpha

My fate was sealed and there's nothing I can do about it anymore. Just then, there was a loud sound!! My eyes snapped opened and I moved my eyes to where it came from. I saw the chapels doors shattered to pieces on the ground. Gasps filled the air as everyone moved to see who it was. "Stop the wedding!!" A voice screamed out. Then, a famous elder from the council walked in. Murmurs filled the air immediately they heard his words. My heart bubbled with joy. Is he here to help me? "The bride has been coerced which means this wedding won't hold!!" He ordered.

Until The Last Day

Until The Last Day

She hadn’t moved it herself. Now, there was something new in front of her. It was an old black camera with a cracked leather strap, its lens pointed directly at her face. The man’s voice spoke again, this time softer. “Smile for the camera, my bride.” Camela clenched her jaw. "No!" she yelled, banging her fist on the table. The Bride’s hands tightened around her shoulders, just enough to cause discomfort. "You should smile. You don’t want your first picture with him to look…unwilling.”
