She whispered some words in Charlotte's ears and Carl watched keenly as they brought out a large envelope. They retracted a series of colorful cards in it.

From my peripheral vision, I saw Melanie slowly taking a slice of the pizza and started eating it. “I think you are just overthinking it, Miss Minerva,” I heard Melanie say. “All those thoughts in your head, you might not expect that it is only Mr. Rodriguez who can clear them. He might be the key to finding your passion and joy that you have been seeking. And maybe he can also help you find the criminals who killed your… ummm… parents. Melanie said, obviously sad as tears blurred Elizabeth's view cursing her slight pain in her eyes. "Mel, I am already missing you and you know that if I have a way to stop this trip I definitely will, but you see… I am Edde Loxley's asset" Elizabeth said, shrugging her shoulders in indifference.
