His free hand gripped my shoulder, his fingers digging into my gray shirt.
I moved my head, establishing a slow, wet rhythm, completely ruthless in my timing.
"I'm here, Maddox," Cullen forced out.
His voice was a gravelly, strained rasp. It sounded nothing like his usual smooth, commanding baritone. He cleared his throat quietly, his hips twitching as my hand stroked him in tandem with my mouth.
"Is something wrong with your voice, Alpha?" Maddox asked through the door, genuine concern lacing his tone.
"I'm fine," Cullen managed to say, his grip on my shoulder tightening to the point of bruising. "Just... reviewing reports. I need a few minutes of quiet. Is it urgent?"
