Alpha Vincenzo

Alpha Vincenzo

, the old man said, staring back at Manuel with the same cockiness. The man was Councillor Calhoun. He had been on the council since he was a young man at about twenty years of age. He had held his seat for years, watching many Alpha King's ascend and fall. His voice was the strongest in the entire council. Manuel shot an eyebrow up at him questioningly. I too watched with curiosity. It was strange that the council had asked for a meeting out of nowhere and I was eager to know what was going on. “Vincenzo is dead”, Calhoun announced.

Asterion

Asterion

We’re onto the fourth day of this ‘festival.’ Three days, three male Athenians. I now have plenty of meat smoked and salted preserved. They will last me a while. Especially that last one, Menestheus, was a portly boy. Sitting on my bed, sharpening my ax, I listen to the crowd outside, waiting to hear the fourth name. “Welcome to the fourth day of the festival! Let the selection begin!" Minos called out as he drew today’s tribute. “Melite!" he called out, and I heard the sobbing of a girl that grew louder and echoed as she was forced into the labyrinth.

Such an interesting & sweet twist to the Minotaur's story. Loved it! Asterion was so well depicted & emotionally drawn. The ending & epilogues were just so heart touching. I was very moved by the ending. Thanks for a very lovely, moving story.

I loved this story. I started reading it twice before, then just read it all way through over the last couple of days. I really want more like this! It was such a great twist on the Minotaur Myths and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

I don’t sound like I’m scolding her but I am. “Remember the day he thought about taking Tessa as a prisoner and starting a war? Then you took him down to the training grounds and kicked his ass all over the mat?” “Mostly, yeah?” “Well, he had that reaction because of Perses. War is in Bronx’s DNA.” “I’m sorry, Perses? He’s a Titan, right?” “Perses is the Titan God of War or Destruction, depending on how you translate it. He is the Goddess Hecate’s father. Delilah is probably familiar with him.”

I just finished Book 2 and it was wonderful! So many emotions to work through and so devastated by the death of a beloved character T-T (no direct Spoiler). So excited to read the next book in the Blood River Universe AND Book 3 of Kas and Bronx’s story. <3

I started mindlessly, thinking it was cute. But it turns out to be WAAAAY better than that. The story is well written, the plot is riveting, and the characters are so genuinely full of life, it is a bliss to read through. This masterpiece has everything of a best-seller! ...️

Eulalia

Eulalia

there was a round of applause as Constantine stood up and walked to the runaway "Good afternoon everybody," he said in a deep voice "I present to you my new collection," he said removing the ribbon as he shouted 'Eulalia'. There was a standing ovation as people applauded I just remained in my seat surprised and awed. My eyes were on Constantine and his eyes were on me, he just smiled at me. This was why he didn't want to tell me the name because he used my name. This melted my heart, I was so stunned. Constantine came back to his seat beside me while the models walked the runway in the lingerie set

BANABELLA

Jonah smiled and hugged him. The men who were behind Jonah formulated a chant, almost bearing the pattern of that of Jonah’s. They joined voices concurrently, lifting up their hands and gyrating happily. “Son of Hugadah, the sword and shield of Muzagah. This day, the gods have shown us our hero, follow your enemies, trample them, sweep them off the face of the earth,” an old man sang his joy away.

James flicked his eyes back and forth between Eliza and Blakeney as the man paused dramatically. “Thetis,” said Blakeney, grandly. “She is a goddess of the sea. A lieutenant of sorts to Poseidon, but more commonly associated with calm and tranquil waters.” “That’s right,” he said, remembrance flooding to him. “Achilles was her most famous son.” Blakeney nodded proudly at his pupil. “Correct.”

Warrior of the Way

Warrior of the Way

"How is that even possible?" Kendalais glanced at him for a brief moment before turning toward Manatee Creek, walking back toward the slab of rock Rhychard thought of as a second home. Rhychard followed the Warrior Master, slipping his hands into his front pockets. Kendalais paused at the edge of the rock, clasped his hands behind his back, and took a deep breath. "Over a millennium ago, the Warrior who wielded your sword, Mephalus, grew tired of the calling the Guardian placed on him. He adopted the views of the Unseelie, believing humans too ignorant, too weak, to govern themselves. Instead, he thought they needed to be ruled over, enslaved. King Oberon called for…"

A tall man with brown skin, by looking at him he was sure that he is a good man. "Sss! Don't shout, if you still value your life," the man said while trying to stop Migi from making any noise. Alpha Alexander

Alpha Alexander

“Her voice in my mind. It wasn’t a dream, it wasn’t a fantasy. She’s alive. She’s still strong.” “That’s good,” Valerian said, turning to him. “But it’s not enough. Not here.” Alexandro clenched his fists. “She said something about a fort… and the sea. That’s all I got. She mentioned a witch named Solmyra and a man called Maeron. Do either of those names mean anything to you?” Valerian stiffened at the mention. “Maeron…” he repeated quietly. “There’s a tale among the sea witches. A shadow stitched together by forbidden magic. If he exists, and if he’s with Solmyra, then they won’t be on any map.”
