Berserker

Berserker

He grinned at her in a way she could only describe as predatory. "Who are you?" Liv tried to stand, but was still unable to make it to her feet. Her head swam from the blow to her head. "Come now, beauty. Let me help you." The strange man lifted her by the armpits and walked her to a fur covered chair near a table. "I am Killian O'Mara of the Blackfoot Pack," he said with the slightest Irish lilt to his voice. He gave her a courtly little bow before sitting in the chair across the table from her.

His presence filled the space before he even spoke. “Mrs. Blackthorn,” he said smoothly, his tone refined, charming even. “I hope I’m not intruding. I do intend to come on time when it is meetings like this.” I gestured for him to sit. “Not at all. You have me at a disadvantage, though. I don’t believe we’ve met. And given your scent, I can tell that you are not from here, Alpha.” He smiled, slow and confident, the kind of smile that didn’t quite reach the eyes. “Forgive me. Alpha Lorenzo D’Amaris. But I choose to go by Mr. D’Amaris when it is amongst humans.”

Military Man's Second Chance

Military Man's Second Chance

Dack called down to Tim from the gunner’s turret as they rode. “Tons, can’t you tell?” Tim answered before returning his attention to his supplies. Dack grinned and resumed scanning their surroundings carefully as the platoon made its rounds. As the group’s medic, Tim usually had the back of the MaxxPro MRAP ambulance to himself while the patrol convoy was in motion. He only occasionally had to step out while route clearance was underway in case someone got injured as they swept for landmines and IEDs. Everything he’d imagined about this place was spot on, including the ever-present sense of foreboding that had seized up his gut on their first patrol and had never let go.

The Mech

The Mech

They received an unexpected surprise when Jason showed up to the press exactly thirty days later. A slightly disheveled but attractive young man then proceeded to introduce his month-long effort. He domineeringly named it after the first Ancient Roman emperor, for it was indeed capable of outperforming most mechs of the current generation. Just its majestic posture and stately head design showed that Jason spent quite a lot of time matching the mech's aesthetics to its superb offensive power.

We snapped our heads to him, but my brother had already disappeared. “Fuck!!” Cassius grunted in frustration. “That Mac contains very important information. If Devitos get their hands on it, it’ll surely destroy us.” “Mr. Cassius Spraggins.” A deep and dangerous voice said. We turned to the man in the suit; he was already watching us. He had a gray beard and gray hair. His skin was tanned and tight, but he looked to be in his fifties. He was old, but it didn’t make him look weaker. He looked dangerous.

Alpha Victor

Alpha Victor

He fished me out of the river of my thoughts and placed me on solid ground, "I know you don't like the idea of me killing anyone. But you know I'll never hurt you or anyone you love. Unfortunately, I can't promise to never hurt anyone. Being who I am, being what I am, it's not possible." "And what are you?" That voice cut through the little bubble that surrounded Victor and me, reminding me that the rest of the world still existed. Jason's sneer was deadly. Neither Victor nor I had realized he had crossed the distance and was now standing mere feet from us. The muscle in Victor's jaw twitched and the distinct sound of him grating his molars reached my ears but he remained silent. "You're som

I think for now, Victor’s book is my favourite. I love the simplicity of the situation that is quite complex but down to earth. I can’t wait to know what will happen with Sydney as well. I guess they’ll meet at some point. I’m happy Victor is putting himself and his needs first. Finally!
Caribbean Princess
The storyline thus far have been outstanding, except for the fact that this book is INCOMPLETE with no UPDATE in sight. This author even had the time to advertised another UPCOMING series which has 2 COMPLETED books but the LAST and most needed damned book of this series isn't done, the nerve.

Alpha Hunter

Alpha Hunter

She was glad though. Luca had these steel gray eyes, almost metallic and lethal, massively built, the tallest among all, with a caveman personality. He gave out those barbarian vibes. His hair was in a manly bun. His jaw was set, she had seen him twice or thrice, and every time his jaw was clenched, as if he was mad all the time. He noticed her staring, and she abruptly looked away, he was terrifying. His eyes screamed violence. As if looking at him a little longer, and he would pummel your face to nonsense.

The 1st is still my <3 favorite! Loved Hunter and Sylvia’s story, the drama and darkness Sylvia endured. Now, Lennox and Violet’s story, bringing the wolf & vamps as one? Can’t wait for Angela and Luca’s!

Absolutely loved this book in the series. Hunter and Silvia's story was tumultuous and I loved how he tried and held on after the err of his ways. Lennox and Violet's story was also very enjoyable. looking forward to Luca and Angela..

The other four interviews were generic. We spoke with Justin from Bloodmoon, who could create and manipulate illusions, which I admit was pretty cool to see in action. He can make a fake me to confuse and distract enemies allowing me to get out of a dangerous situation unnoticed. After him, we sat down with Sebastian, also from Bloodmoon. He can manipulate kinetic energy, so he can take his enemy’s energy and redistribute it to himself, to someone else, and of course, push it back.

This book was super fun to read. It was filled with sassiness, lightheartedness, and some unexpected twists and background stories. Loved every single chapter and can't wait to see those bonus stories from the side characters. Awesome work Bryant!

Jameson walks over and puts his hand on her shoulder, nodding to the shadows, making them all dissapear back into the ground. She looks up at him as he sighs. "You know what? Lifting the cup, prepared to the end but a question left the goblet halting before his lips. "Do you regret it?" Detroit's question made him whisk his gaze towards him. Meeting the questioning eyes of the person in front of him. Detroit was looking at him with empathic eyes, gone were the eyes of the guards that are doing what was ordered to him. But a person genuinely asks about the feelings of the person who might have a lot of regrets before he dies. "Do I regret betraying her?" Detroit shook his head, placing the wine on a table nearby. He stood on guard as he look at Colum's hazel eyes. "No, do you regret meeting her?" Colum could feel his breath hitches at that moment. A surge of memor
