“Goodnight, you must be Akari-chan, nice to meet you. And you are…” He looked directly at me for several minutes. “You live on the apartments above the candy store right. I knew your uniform seemed familiar, my name is Makiba Jouji, your landlord’s grandson.” He politely offered me his card as I avoided looking into his eyes, ashamed at the fact that I did not even remember my landlord’s name. Written with golden letters below his name you could read Guidance Center Special Consultant. “Nice to meet you, I am Taoyama Naruki.” “I did not know you were friends with Matsubara-san.”

Caroline, a she-wolf who has been considered a monster since she was a child, can she break the tragedy spell and find her MATE?

It was an online black market. “Good afternoon, Mr. Kalen, welcome to Pandora’s Box, the market for weapons and other military equipment. My name is Echo-11; if you desire, you can change my name to one you prefer.” The A.I continued, as Kalen stared curiously at it. It took the shape of a man in a suit, exactly like the one he was still wearing at that moment.

"I'm sorry, Eden. I don't know anything." Eden's eyes filled with tears as she realized that she might lose Kylian. He was the love of her life, and she couldn't bear the thought of him dying because she couldn't find a cure for the poison that was slowly killing him. As Eden turned to leave, Flinn appeared out of nowhere. Eden was happy to see him, but he got worried when he saw her crying. "Eden, what's wrong?" Flinn asked concern etched on his face. "It's Kylian," Eden said, her voice breaking. "He's been poisoned, and we don't know the cure."

The building in front of him was very tall. In a quick calculation, he could assume that it had about fifteen floors. It was incredibly elegant on the outside, all following the monochrome. On the inside, it was even more beautiful. As soon as he entered the lobby, he could see a white marble countertop where some receptionists were sitting assisting those who approached. There were also turnstiles both to the right and to the left. Just by seeing that, he imagined how organized and expensive that place must be. Having a space in that building should not be cheap at all. He would then straighten his clothes and open a friendly smile. In the email, he had been told that he had to stop by this

People didn’t seem to recognize me by my look which was perfect for me, I just listened to their chats, I made friends, talking to them laughing when needed, saying the needed oh and ah. “Is there any bounty going around?” I ask with a smile. “A bounty hunter?” the guy I’m talking to asks, I just nod, I’ll go with that. “There’s one over any info about the pure bloods, another over the psycho hitman, his name is Devil I think. Strange name if you ask me” he says, mixing my gender with a he, I just smiled, if people think I’m a he, I might be safer than I thought I was.

Von sighed. "Shut up!" Leona shouted and looked at me. "Are you a Gredator?" Leona asked. I frowned at her question. "Gredator? What's that?" I asked. "That is--" "Shut up Leona, Clementine is a pure human and she can't do that." When Fin interrupted what Leona was going to say. "Maybe her kryptonite is fresh water from that falls." Fin said and turned to me. "but only Gredators are afraid of fresh water from messafara Falls." said Leana.

I say. She nods. “Thousands.” Blake swears under his breath. “And they don’t want balance,” she continues. “They want freedom—from you, from the Crown, from all systems.” I step forward despite Ethan’s grip tightening. “What do you want from me?” The woman studies me for a long, measuring moment. Then she reaches into her cloak. And withdraws something that makes the Crown recoil violently for the first time since I changed it. A shard. Silver-black, humming with inverted energy—wrong in every sense.

Before she could stop him, he slipped the metal around her throat and locked it. Her eyes widened in horror. She clutched it tightly, trying to pry it off. "What is this?" She snapped. "It's called a Khaldron." Kieran muttered as he turned away. "It's a special device worn around the throat to keep your lycan powers subdued." He turned around sharply and faced her. "Whatever plans you have of escaping, forget it." He continued. "You won't shift unless that device is taken off. And without your lycan power, you're helpless."

About 40 minutes after our arrival a doctor stepped into the room. “Are you Miss Clarke’s family?” He asked. “Yes, I'm her fiancé, Nick Thorn, and this is my brother, Elio.” “Nick, I'm Dr Aleka. Why don’t you take a seat.” “I shook my head, is she alright? Please just tell me if she’s alive.” “Yes, please take a seat.” I did as instruct and took a seat opposite him. I felt a momentary wave of relief wash over me but there was something about his tone of voice and the look on his face that told me something was seriously wrong.
