Ashley looks around and pulls four people to the front of the line. Marcello looks at all of them and he realizes what is going on. She knows them. “I am going to cleanse this mafia. I want only the good seed here, the ones I can trust and I can make sure will never betray me because I swear if you do, this is what is going to happen to you”, she says as she walks to Marcello and opens her hand in front of him. He looks around, frowning, and grabs his gun, putting it in her hand.

I was furious “Lord is a Mafia king. There is no way he would get us a place he didn't keep under watch. One thing I know about the Mafia is that they don't trust anyone. What would have happened if you said whatever you wanted to say? He would have heard us and probably was watching us and would know exactly what was happening”, Lucas explained. I suddenly felt stupid as I covered my face in my palms in shame, It all made sense now, there was no way he would have stopped me from talking had he not kissed me. His earlier expression explained it all. He was trying to warn me not to say anything. And there I was thinking he was hitting on me. I felt stupid

Selena’s POV I knew his father won’t approve of me and I prepared for this moment, the moment where I will challenge his father. I had tried not to be afraid, for mafias consider fear as being weak and not up to the task. Juliana had made me read and learn more about this world I now find myself in. The mafias marry off their child to not just random people but to their fellow mafia with more powers and connections. I know I have none of this to offer and I stand on a thin line of the rope, but I won’t give up without a fight.

I lied, "So if you harm her I will burn your entire mafia to the ground." I warned them. I paused for a moment to let all of that sink in, "Am I clear?" "Yes." Elijah and Richard said in unison. "Good, let's go then."

I looked to see my mate staring at the tattered book like it was about to eat him alive. “Could this be relevant?” Micelle asked and I looked up to see her nervously glancing between the two of us. “I wasn’t really too sure what to be on the lookout for, Beta Roman was rather vague, I probably wouldn’t have even considered it had it not been…” She trailed off and I nodded, knowing exactly what she was thinking, had it not been for people talking about how much of a freak I was. “It could be relevant yes, thank you Michelle.” I uttered as Tristan sat frozen still staring at the book.

Then my mind wanders off to Antonio words: "Is not really the matter of being a softy dumbass. I just find the story similar to what happened to you. I'm dead serious! You've got to read this book, perhaps after reading you can tell me if I was wrong or right" I don't know when my fingers has typed the title of the book and it's author and now I was at A****n Kindle page. In the page, the book cover is designed with white background and then it had a broken shaped hearts on the background with the title written in red 'Shattered Hearts' and it's author name below the cover Micaela Alvarado. Seeing this book again sent turbulence to my heart like in the afternoon when I'd seen it.

I glared at Mia. “I must get ready to this challenge!” Soon after, I started bawling in front of her. Even though I remember what I did, of course… I still feel guilty after what I did to that old woman. EL is crazy. Monalisa shook her head sideways unable to find her voice to speak up and say what had happened, her eyes filled with terror as her gaze followed her aunt Lila as she bent down and picked her book off the floor. “Your stupid Cinderella book again?” Lila said after seeing the title of the book, glaring from the book in her hand to Monalisa whose heart started drumming in her heart as she felt that burning her book would not be the only punishment she would get from her careless mistake, wishing she could turn back time and undo what she had done. “She had the guts to throw this stupid book at me mum,” Annabel said, sounding so bitter as she pointed her finger to Monalisa.

This book is only on w*****d, w******l and goodnovel. As we speak it'll be deleted off d****e, any other platform you see it in someone's stealing my work. For those who have been supporting my book, it's a few but I'm still great full. It's a great start for me and I'm grateful for those of you who took the time out to read my story.
