Tattooed Luna

Tattooed Luna

Since I was a tattoo artist, I liked to have a bunch of my own work available for people to chose from. This one was of a Phoenix. The wings were spread wide with fire around him. I was so lost in the shadowing that I didn’t see or feel Ace approaching. “SHIT!” I yelled as he tapped my shoulder, causing me to jump. He sat down across from me. I saw his eyes examine my lip and my knuckles. It made me slightly uncomfortable but loved as well. “You okay?” “Always am.” I said as I out my music away. “Kristen.” Anytime someone uses my full name, I know they are serious.

I have been in absolutely in love with this book since the beginning. I have enjoyed how the story has continued to develop beyond the siblings and their mates, but to another level of complexity within the familial ties. Amazing writing, well developed characters, not your typical werewolf story.

Could not put this book down on the first read. I am now reading all three a second time. Love the story line. Kris and Alec are badass characters and love their chemistry. Would love another book with the original characters, but maybe some chapters with POV from Jacob and Sherry or Emmy and Jasper

You can't Run, My Secret Maid!

You can't Run, My Secret Maid!

Zella said, looking around Mike's room, her feet stepping forward deliberately closer to Mike's body. "My body is full of art, too. Do you want to see it?" Mike raised one eyebrow to look at Zella. "Show me." Zella moved her body away and saw Mike take off the black t-shirt on his body. Zella saw a rather large, blister-like scar under Mike's left rib. Mike also had a flower and butterfly tattoo under his right rib cage. He also likes a tribal tattoo on his chest. Zella's hand touched Mike's scar, and she was curious about the scar, which was quite large and left a mark.

Too Late to Reclaim His Queen

Too Late to Reclaim His Queen

A familiar ache tightened my chest. But I refused to cry. Tears were a luxury I couldn't afford. I collected every shard and sealed them in a velvet pouch. The last of my illusions about Miles, now just broken pieces. The next morning, I walked into the best tattoo parlor in Chicago. "I need a cover-up," I told the artist, a man known for his dark, gothic style. He glanced at the small 'M' on my lower back. "Covering up a name?" "It was a mistake," I said, my voice flat. "I want a black phoenix. Rising from ashes."

Heartache in Yellowstone

Heartache in Yellowstone

I want him to focus on his family and the loss they are experiencing. I force myself to focus on the pain in my face as punishment for being the reason why Stanley is no longer with us. The stitches are itchy and tight, but I know Hurst did his best. There is very little puckering along the stitches which is good. But I will still have a three-inch-long scar on my face no matter what. A good reminder of what happened the day we lost Stanley. "Boyd, make sure we park on the end," Mike says lowly and the shifter nods in the seat in front of me.

I work three jobs *door dash *United supermarkets *nail tech I also have three toddlers. I'm sorry if my updates aren't conducive to your schedule, but I am unable to write more at this time. Constantly being told to hurry is draining my passion for writing. Forming plots takes time.

The book is overall well written. But it’s so darn sad. Im about 1/2 done and need to take a break from all the heartbreak. I now see why it’s named heartache in Yellowstone because man is there ever. I will wait until finished and hopefully they get their HEA.

The Pumpkin Head Murder

The Pumpkin Head Murder

Marcus continued slowly. “He said when she handed him candy, her wrist was exposed for a moment. On it was a very unusual tattoo.” Marcus took out another photo. It was a child’s drawing. A twisted pumpkin face, its mouth split all the way to the ears, its eyes hollow spirals. “This kind of gothic-style tattoo… a lot of people have them…” My voice grew quieter and quieter. Marcus said nothing. He simply placed a third photo in the center of the table. The background was a beach and the open sea.

Contract Wife Of The Twin Alphas

Contract Wife Of The Twin Alphas

His chiseled face was so close to mine that I felt his cold breath fanning over my face and squirmed, gasping when the thick girth of his cock pressed against the heat of my sex and the rogue groaned. “Christ Michael, you're not even out of the coffin yet, and you already want to fuck-” Markov grumbled and I squealed in embarrassment, flipping him off graciously. “Fuck Elena, scream any louder and my bloody head’s going to explode-” Michael groaned, scrunching up his face in a scowl just as warmth flooded my heart and I chortled excitedly. Michael Gotham was back alright. I could still tell he was in pain, with his bone-deep bruises turned into ghastly purple and blue swatches under the whit

Michael raises his eyebrow in anticipation . " Is .. this " I pull the shirt at my neck to the side to give a better view . " A mark ? " I ask . Michael growls , clenching his fists . " He was going to mark you without permission ? " He sighs , slapping his hand against his face and keeping it there for a few seconds . He looks down . " Don't worry . That's not deep enough to be a claim mark . You're safe . " Michael mutters assuringly . His thoughts seem to be elsewhere.

Boss' Blood

Boss' Blood

It was now three in the morning, and the two of them stayed up in Michael’s room with both of them in their pajamas. Alba asked Michael to recheck his tattoo, and as he took off his shirt, his red crescent tattoo about two inches by two inches big was shown. He had a great body, but no matter how hard Alba tried, she could only see the man as a brother, and for that, she was very thankful. As they both looked closer, the tattoo on Michael’s chest was obviously the same as the one on the body of the dead man. The tattoo was just a crescent moon, but what made it special was the word LUNA written inside the moon in a specific way that made it look like swirls. It was an intricate design, since

The Rejected Human Mate

The Rejected Human Mate

Someone please tell me what's going on all this is just so strange. I placed the picture down then walked into the bathroom. Luckily the pain between my legs had reduced a bit and I was able to walk properly I showered then wrapped a towel around my body I went and stood in front of the floor length mirror to see if there was a tattoo and just like he said there was a Wolf with some kind of wings standing protectively infront of a girl. There were some letters underneath the tattoo M and S. So Michael was right. He is a werewolf and gosh this is too much to take in. I decided to check my body for any other tattoo and luckily there wasn't. I had lost weight too.

Melanin Diaries: Perfectly Imperfect

Melanin Diaries: Perfectly Imperfect

He countered with an indignant tone. "I didn't make it so obvious." I shrugged in reply. "Just answer already jàre, stop rubbing your victory to my face." I wanted to call Mike out for being a sore loser, and go further to asking him what battled he'd thought I won, but I spent the time thinking about tattoo designs —it wasn't that I was actually consider going through a process to bring so much pain just for a price of art on skin— It was just me humouring Mike. "I'd like a phoenix." I mentioned after a lot of thought. The news was greeted by a wide grin on Mike's face.

Frequently Asked Questions

The terrifying and iconic mask worn by Michael Myers in John Carpenter’s classic horror film Halloween (1978) has a surprisingly humble origin rooted in pop culture—and clever creativity on a tight budget.

What Is the Michael Myers Mask? The mask that transformed Michael Myers into a silent, emotionless killer was originally a repurposed mask of Captain Kirk, the character famously played by William Shatner in the Star Trek TV series. The prop department purchased a generic Captain Kirk mask—actually a molded death mask of William Shatner’s face—for roughly two dollars.

How Was the Mask Transformed? To turn a recognizable sci-fi hero’s face into a soulless horror visage, the filmmakers made several key modifications:

Eyebrows and Sideburns Removed: These facial features were carefully trimmed away to create a blank, expressionless look.

Face Painted White: A thick layer of white paint gave the mask its ghostly pallor, enhancing the eerie, unnatural quality.

Eye Holes Reshaped: The eye openings were cut larger and reshaped with scissors, allowing the actor’s eyes to peek out in a haunting way.

Why This Mask Worked Perfectly The stark white, featureless face became a chilling canvas for terror. Its unsettling blankness perfectly captured Michael Myers’ inhuman, unstoppable nature—an emotionless force of evil with no identity beyond the mask. This minimalist yet haunting design played a crucial role in the film’s lasting impact on horror cinema.

Influence on the Franchise The original Captain Kirk mask set the standard for all Michael Myers masks used in subsequent Halloween movies. While variations and updates appeared over time, the core design remains a direct descendant of that first, improvised mask.

Fun Fact: Behind-the-Scenes Innovation Director John Carpenter and the film’s prop team were working with an extremely limited budget, which made sourcing and modifying an off-the-shelf mask a practical necessity. Their resourcefulness inadvertently created one of horror’s most enduring and recognizable symbols.

In summary: The Michael Myers mask originated from a William Shatner Captain Kirk mask, ingeniously altered with white paint, removed facial hair, and reshaped eye holes. This simple yet effective transformation helped define one of the most iconic horror villains in film history.
