I needed to start gaining Nicholas’s people’s trust somehow. “Hey Jay, I’m Michelle. It’s nice to meet you.” I said with the best smile I could muster. She gave me an overly wide smile that bordered on fake. “Yeah, I know.” One of the girls behind her shot forward, extending her hand. She had mocha skin and dark brown eyes and carried herself with an air of excitement.

Chantelle POV: It had been three months since I left my uncle's house and moved in with Declan. I was finally beginning to feel a sense of peace. For the first time in a long time, I felt safe and cared for. Declan and his staff had been so kind to me, making sure I had everything I needed. I had tried to help around the house, but the maids always shooed me away, telling me to relax. As I sat there, reflecting on my new life, I couldn't help but feel grateful for everything that had happened.

Michelle’s fans should have seen what she just did. As she was on the call, Rush dialed 911, and without a care for Piper, Michelle continued her meeting as if Piper was not there.

For them to pass so suddenly was very unjust. She got to her feet, frowning deeply. "Michelle you..." Javier spoke softly. "Let me speak." She growled, her eyes taking on their blue wolf-like shape. Roman laughed, enjoying the part of her that could make Javier stop talking, to which Javier responded by pinching him. "Ow!" He bellowed in a dramatic manner. "Seriously?" Michelle scowled hard as they looked at her, their eyebrows going up in shock. Who knew she could become so intimidating?

He might pop over for some quick chit-chat, then promptly return to his duties. However, this year was different. Eleanor didn't come alone, nor was she accompanied by Sebastian or Alex. Instead, she was joined by a very elegant woman, Michelle Xia, seated right next to her. This was Michelle's second appearance at Ye Corporation. Michelle shook her head slowly. “No use. People think I’m a snob. Others report lies about me to Patrick just to stay in his good books. I figured if they don’t see me, they can’t lie about what I’m doing.” Jason’s chest tightened. There was no bitterness in her voice, only quiet resignation.

“I need this handled. Now.” There was a pause. “How messy are we talking?” Miranda’s nails tapped against the glass of her wine. “As messy as it takes.” The line went dead. She exhaled slowly. Michelle wanted to play games? Fine. She'll see how well she can play when she becomes the target. Let’s see how well she played when she was the target. Michelle had just walked into the penthouse when she got a call from the company, informing her of an unexpected meeting the next day.

“Michelle? Could I speak to you for a moment?” She nodded, and handed Nylah to Caspian, following me outside to the porch. “What's up?” She asked. “I still need your help with Zara. Is there any way to get the names of the stores ordering her clothes?” I asked, lowering my voice to a whisper. Michelle’s shook her head. “I'm not sure you can get a comprehensive list. Why?” “Nothing. Just keeping track. What's up with you?” I asked brightly. “I'm up for a promotion, but something weird is happening at work. I'll let you know when I've got it figured out.” Michelle answered.

The woman's blue eyes already gave Michelle a sharp look. "Lies! Everything you've heard is a lie! I've never intentionally framed anyone to get a job!" Michelle shouted frantically now trying to convince every eye that was staring at her now. The woman had touched the collar of the shirt Jazlyn was wearing. Jazlyn still didn't respond to Michelle at all. "You damn woman! You shouldn't have taken my position like that! You're not even that competent!" shouted Michelle again frantically. And now another record is playing. In the recording, it is clear that Michelle's voice does not want to work as head of finance but wants to approach Ace Morin to make life easier.

Richie said with a smile " Oh my, my favorite" Michelle said bringing out the Chocolate in the bag and snacks "Yeah I know" Richie reply happily "Thanks so much" Michelle said and hug Richie " You are welcome, but where is Jasper" Richie question as they disengage from the hug "Well, he started a new job today, so he's not yet back" Michelle said calmly " A job? Why? What kind of job?" Richie question hurriedly " Don't worry about it Richie" Michelle reply weakly eating some chocolate
