Mated at midnight
Midnight gray, and soft as sin, with a stitched silver wolf emblem on the back.
“Jay...” His voice dipped.
“It’s not a big deal,” I said quickly, shrugging like I wasn’t nervous. “You got hundreds for me, this is small…”
He grabbed my chin and kissed me, cutting me off.
One hand curled gently under my chin with gentle dominance, tilting my face up, the other slid behind my neck, his fingers threading through my hair as he pulled me forward. His lips pressed into mine like a silent command.
My breath hitched, and my body responded instantly, my heart thundering, as my fingers fisted into the front of his shirt. I melted into him without hesitation, chasing the heat of his mouth.
