A Life Without Sunlight

A Life Without Sunlight

"There’s nothing wrong with it. It just faces north. It’s too cold. I want a south-facing room. It doesn’t matter if it’s smaller." I really was cold. The brain tumor had thrown off my body’s ability to regulate temperature. It felt like I was trapped in a freezer all the time. Only sunlight gave me even a hint of warmth. "Cold? Then turn on the A/C." Mom looked at me like I was being unreasonable. "The south-facing room is your Uncle Jonathan’s study. The other one is a storage room." "Then I’ll take the storage room." Her eyes widened. "Are you insane? You’re turning down a perfectly good guest room to live in a storage closet? Are you trying to make your Uncle Jonathan think I’m abusing y

Reclaimed by My Alpha

Reclaimed by My Alpha(Reclaimed by My Ruthless Alpha)

By the time I managed to reach an outcrop of rocks about halfway down the mountain and felt the strange bubble of… whatever it had been keeping me from contacting Natalia suddenly pop, the sun was already beginning to rise. Not that it mattered, of course. The snow rendered everything a constant pale white. It was still early, not even close to dawn, but this high up, I could see dawn breaking on the distant horizon. The sun’s light was a welcome reprieve from the bitter darkness, but it was distant and cold, as if even its golden rays feared touching the peak in which the so-called “Winter King” resided. “Hello?” I called out to my Beta, huddling against a couple of large boulders to keep t

I really enjoy this novel and hope to see more, as it’s been 2 months. I miss the original cover and how it reflected the FL’s strength and leadership. The new cover suggests a very different kind of story. Please bring back original cover, or hope future artwork better reflects the story.

I love this story! 594 chapters in and I still find myself captivated by it. The characters, the world building and the evolving nature of everything is so fascinating. I’d love to see what happens next, and I really hope this continues!

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

I reached out to touch Winnie’s hand, but as my fingers brushed hers, a spark of pure energy threw me back. She was a sun, and I was a shadow, and for the first time in our lives, the two could not touch without burning. The long winter has only begun, and the North is no longer a secret. And I will never give up. The eclipse passes. The moon returns to full light. But the warning lingers. The Dark Wolf is patient. So am I. This chapter delivers the engagement, the peaceful interlude, and the new threat of the Dark Wolf's return. Shall I continue with Chapter 22? Chapter 21: A New Dawn Word count: 1,203 The sun rises over Silvermoon, golden and warm. I stand on the palace balcony, my parents beside me, Kael's hand in mine. Below, the city stirs to life. Wolves go about their business. Children play in the streets. The markets are full of color and sound.

Twin Alpha's Lost Mate

Twin Alpha's Lost Mate

****** When I returned to the orphanage, the sun disappeared, and the sky became a dark orange mixed with blue. I didn’t stop in the dining room, I went straight to my room and then plunged into the bathroom and took a quick shower with warm water, colder than hot. Then I returned to my room and put on my pajamas, waiting for everyone to return. I lay in bed with my book in my hand while my companions put themselves in the beds and turned off the light, not worrying at all that I was reading. I placed my book on the bedside table and tucked it under the covers, waiting and looking at the sky through the slit created by the curtains.

Under a Different Sun

Under a Different Sun

I squinted and gave the bomb expert a half-smile. "There’s no need to waste time with words.” "Just do your thing, and quick." He nodded and got down to business with his tools. I licked my back teeth. Great. Now of all times I was dying for a smoke. The afternoon in Safrana? It was blazing hot. I had been standing in the blazing sun for what felt like an eternity, and it seemed like the sun was trying to cook me alive.

The Midnight Veil

The Midnight Veil

The interior of Selene's house felt like stepping into a dream someone had built with their bare hands. Not whimsical. Not soft. Just... otherworldly. Shelves curved along the walls, carved directly from roots that twisted out of the floor like living sculptures. Jars glowed faintly from within—powders, herbs, shimmering dust that looked suspiciously like captured moonlight. A hearth burned with blue fire, throwing dancing shadows onto tapestries woven with scenes of wolves and trees that moved when Charlie wasn't looking directly at them.

Toward the Sun

Toward the Sun

“You aren’t unable to move because of sleep paralysis anymore.” Jaladri’s stomach twisted. “That was my strike. You won’t be able to move again until sunrise. So if you'd like to perform the dawn prayer, you'll have to do it spiritually. Your body is temporarily unavailable.” If Jaladri had been capable of moving, his eyes would have bulged out of his skull. Until sunrise? Like this? With his chest feeling as though a horse had kicked through it? “Control your breathing and the pain will lessen. But moving? Forget it. Not until morning. And if you suddenly need to urinate...”
