Moonlit Monarch: A Duology

Moonlit Monarch: A Duology

NOTE: HI GUYS! The following chapters will be teasers for this book. This particular book is a series on its own with five books. Let me know if you like it after reading the teasers. INTRODUCTION Two years ago, Caidyn caused a young man to drown in the waters of loss after he had seen her. On that day, Lucien Dracmon sat on a rock at the riverbank, starring at the beautiful petals of a moon flower that grew only around this particular river. It only bloomed at night and he had come out because of it and to also comfort himself.

THE MIDNIGHT HOWL

POV(FIONA), I stared at the ocean till my eyes got sore, the evening sun was up, the waves rushing forth and backwards, the magical sensation, it brought back memories to me. A year ago I was branded Wolfless and demoted to an Omega, it was the saddest feeling but I thought it was probably a test from above, it was going to get fixed right?, But I was wrong. The more I tried to adapt to the Omega rules, the more unfair life became to me, I try to hide my feelings and face it all, but sometimes I just cry it out.

Wolfbitten

Wolfbitten

NIKOLAI Early on Tuesday morning, I jumped into the hot shower before it was time to leave. They say a full moon can make one do crazy things. And in our culture, we were especially affected by the first full moon of the year—the wolf moon. It was days away. And there was no reason to believe that a sunrise couldn’t affect us much the same. Especially after having lived in persistent darkness for so long. I’d practically forgotten that there was a time in my life that I’d walked under the sun’s rays.

This book is so good and the writing is superb! This is the 4th book in the series and it is just as amazing as the other 3. If you haven’t read them, I would suggest reading the other 3 first before reading this one so you will get to know the characters. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

Bride of the Sea-King Alpha

Bride of the Sea-King Alpha

*** The sun is just beginning to cast bright orange hues across the horizon, and I’ve instructed the men to make our first camp before nightfall among fragrant pine trees in a clearing just off the main road. I’d envisioned traveling through a snow-blanketed landscape for the entire journey, but it was mere hours before the scenery around us transformed into greenery, and the chill in the air softened into a warm breeze. Still, Lyra did not take her eyes off the Tome of Glory until now, as the waning sunlight has made reading impossible. She sighs, setting the book on the floor in front of her carefully before leaning back, turning her head toward the campsite with a distant look in her eyes

The Eclipse Secret Child

The Eclipse Secret Child

The North Spire of the Midnight Maw was a place of endless twilight, even when the sun was supposed to be at its zenith, the thick, obsidian-infused stones of the tower seemed to drink the light, leaving only a cool, violet glow that didn't hurt my eyes. For the first time in eighteen months, the constant, low-grade fever I’d carried, the byproduct of siphoning Kaelen’s excess solar energy had broken, I felt cold, a deep, hollow cold that originated from my womb and radiated outward to my very fingertips.

Fake Bond of the Lycan Lords

Fake Bond of the Lycan Lords

Our claws touch for a fraction of a second, and the pack bond clicks in my head. He is the king of the sun kingdom. The land where the sun never shines, yet his eyes burn with the raw light of a star. The white king walks toward Betty, his gaze lifting to the sky. He raises both arms toward the sun. A strange, heavy pressure drops over the forest. The light begins to bleed out of the air. The bright afternoon fades into a thick, artificial twilight as the trees turn to charcoal shadows. It is done, the sun king’s voice echoes in my mind. I can hold the solar energy inside my own body for one hour. Your friend Novalee thought this would give her a chance.

Sunlight on Thawed Ground

Sunlight on Thawed Ground

"I was so blind and so stubborn. I completely pushed your needs aside. From this moment on, I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you." I lay on the bed, my body still weak, but a deep, comforting warmth flooded my chest. That profound sensation of finally being trusted and loved was what I had craved for countless days and nights. Slowly, an irresistible wave of exhaustion washed over me. I allowed my eyes to drift shut. But this time, there was no fear or resentment. There was only a profound, beautiful security. I knew, without a doubt, that Marie would be guarding my side. When I opened my eyes again, dusk had settled. The last rays of the setting sun filtered through the glas
