I thought to myself, “I must be hungry.” “When are we getting to the potter’s village?” I asked Sandra. “Once we go past that next hill,” she pointed forward. I took in a deep breath of relief as I hoped there’d be appetizing dishes in the village. I had a lot of money with me, and wouldn’t hesitate to fill my stomach with the best meals. Just then, the captain of the train pulled the brake without warning. The train quaked as it tried to come to a stop. I looked out of the window. The next hill was still far. I looked around and everyone seemed totally puzzled, even the congress officer himself. What was going on?

"Quick! Now…Nirvana! As quickly as you possibly can!" It was going to be a nail-biter. The magical railway cart was over a hundred years old and slowed to a crawl when it tried to accelerate. As they moved forward, a split developed in the ceiling directly above them, allowing gobs of dirt to fall into the last freight cart they were passing. Elfar yelled, and Danny sobbed in agony. The train, on the other hand, gained momentum. They were dashing down the tunnel, outrunning the collapse, before they knew it. The ground continued to shift and crack in the wake of their departure.
