A passing train attendant caught my eye and gave the man a reassuring nod, as if to vouch for him. I offered a grateful but wary smile. The tea smelled soothing, but I knew better than to accept drinks from strangers, no matter how kind their eyes were. I set it aside, murmuring my thanks, and laid my head on the grimy table, trying to will the world away. I was jolted from a shallow, pain-filled doze by the screech and lurch of the train. The sensory overload clawed at the inside of my skull, and every joint in my body screamed in protest.

Ella and Marie’s voice calls out to her. “Misha!” She turns her head and started to look for both of them for a moment, she found them being dragged away from the crowd into safety. Smiling and reliving the scene that she is witnessing she successfully avoided that dripping death of destiny. A huge explosion echoes through the station, with the train that goes out of its track grinding the platform that should kill the hundreds of people in the process. Everyone stops as the aftermath freezes them in shock. The torn pieces and burning trains are tainting the sky with its amber red, with its dark smoke that goes all the way into the sky. Yet, no one got injured.

"Stay here, okay? We'll protect you." His words gave me safety so even amidst the chaos, I felt somewhat relieved. The fight continues and much to everyone's surprise, the twins have the upper hand. She smiled at him—actually smiled. “Adrian, it was like something out of an action movie. I swear, my heart hasn’t stopped pounding.” Adrian’s jaw clenched. “That’s not funny.” “I know, I know,” she said quickly, putting her hands up in surrender. “But we’re alive, right? Safe. You should have seen my driver—he pulled the craziest move. Those guys almost caught up to us, but then the train—oh my God, Adrian—the train!”

As soon as the train stopped at the final station, people spontaneously sighed in amazement. “What a magnificent sight!” "Right. I feel like I'm in a fairy tale." “This is the most beautiful train ride I have ever had.” However, among the excited passengers getting off the train to greet the more stunning panorama, someone still closed his eyes while holding the secretary's hand. "Sir, we have arrived," Mia said flatly. She was reluctant to speak to Julian, but the man needed to be awakened. "Sir!"

Hugging my knees, I feel the need to cry. The crowd on this train is thinning, only a small group of us left. Tension is building. The two worst territories are coming up.

I say as I’m pulling her from the railway. The man runs to us and helps me pull Sasha out of the railway. “Oh, my god…” Sasha screams as the train horn blares closer to her. All people at the subway scream looking at us… “Watch out!” The old lady yells. The man and I pull Sasha with all of our strength and Sasha finally out of the railway. “Oh, shit…” I say in relief as Sasha is above me. “Are you okay?” The man says. “Yes sir, yes… we’re okay. We’re good, thank you so much” I say as I hug Sasha and we sit on the subway floor next to the railway.
